like i said, i dont mind if its a little bit before 7... but closer 2 6am is just ridiculous and yes i will complain because its just not good! there is plenty of other things they can do before 7am.

i dont have a problem with them starting before 7am, so long as they dont use their loud machinery. i dont even mind them starting at 6:45! but for example, on wed last week at 5:55 this bastard started cutting bricks for the driveway of the house to the side of us.. thats so not cool! so my bf and i both got approx. 5.5hrs sleep and i had to go to work at 8:30am... dont u think thats a bit unfair???

shmiddy yes i still would feel the same!!! my bf works late nights and needs to sleep until AT LEAST 8am... its the LAW that they cannot start using noisy machinery etc before 7am... laws are there for a reason! its also really bloody annoying waking to hear the air horn of the damn jiffy truck, nail guns, brick cutters and various other noisy machines! they choose the job, damn i dont get to finish work early if its 40 degrees i am still stuck outside!

haha to shut ur pie hole!!! im guna start ringing the building company, the housing estate guy and the council and complain!!! NO NOISE BEFORE 7AM!!!

just remember to be hell naggers and get on their backs if they aint doin the job right/on time! it makes it so much easier getting stuff done properly along the way rather than wait til handover and point stuff out then having to wait longer for it to be fixed up! if u just let them do whatever, the quality of the job will be pretty average

im in hocking which is a little bit further up from darch. cant fkn wait for the houses around us to be finished cos i get woken so damn early by the workmen and the f*kn jiffy truck comin round to deliver them brekky! building our house wasnt the most pleasurable experience but once ya move in all the bad memories seem to disappear

we had to pay 10k for a price rise which happened in 2 weeks, they were going charge us 18k but as an "act of good faith" they dropped the amount... pfffffft! i have never been so stressed out and fought with my partner so much as when we were getting our house built. i have also never had to make so many phone calls in my life before. i was constantly on their back to get shit done cos they stuffed us around for 2 months with the roof, ringing us each week saying "itll be done next week" etc etc, i put up with it for nearly 2 months, rang up and lost the plot and the roof started getting done the very next day. u really have to be pushy to get stuff done on time and properly. i feel sorry 4 the liason officer chicks cos they cop all the abuse wen really its the site managers fault!

its near on impossible to lose money in property... the only advantages of building a house is that a) u can choose a house exactly the way u want it, and b) u make a bit more profit than established

exactly!!! i would way prefer to buy established ... also cos u get gardens n stuff... its killer moving into new house and having to spend more money than u earn!!! yay for sandpits hahaha

youre crazy if you choose to build at the moment, there is such a backlog of people waitin 4 their houses to be built. we signed up over 18 months ago and only just moved in at xmas time. most building companys are also issuing people with price rises AFTER the contract is signed and stuff and the quality of workmanship across the board has gone downhill cos they are trying to pump out so many houses.

that store is quite close to my bfs shop and last nite all u could smell was burning china stuff haha supposedly the place wen up in flames hell quick.

dont bother with flake paint, i have it on my car and its more trouble than its worth. it also costs a fortune cos our car has the base colour (black) then 3 layers of flake with 9 layers of clear. its extremely time consuming to look after and its hard to colour match if ur car gets damaged. ours is causing a lot of hassles as we have to get our boot replaced and repainted and we dont have the mix details....

skyline drivers arent the best drivers in the world either, the only reason why u probably notice the commodore drivers more is cos they r one of the most bought cars in aus so there is an absolute shitload of them and fords in comparison to other cars, and also most of the older commodores are more affordable to young kids for their first car and to people who dont have alot of money. i think its pathetic everyone is having a whinge about a particular type of car/people who drive that car. like its been said a few times in this thread, bad drivers come in all different makes of cars.

im not new to the scene!!! i think acts such as pendulum who are becoming a lot more mainstream are responsible for the big interest in dnb recently
