thanks for the opinion - how do the 2 different coolers differ in terms of method of cooling?

Hi Wondering what types of intercoolers are there out there and what are the differences? For example what is a bar and plate intercooler and what other variants are around. Which is better? Are Jap brands one better researched, designed and flowing than cheaper ones (eg truck or non-polished ones)? Next question i got is what is a useful sized intercooler for an R33 GTST if you were to say hi-flow the turbo and add the usual small mods? Will 600x300x76 do?

Was wondering what kind of fabrication needs to be done to accomodate something like an HKS 25XX series turbo? New piping? Manifold?

hey how much does it cost to freight stuff over from japan by - air - sea is there any guarantee that the stuff will get here if it is put onto a boat? i mean, our goods are not subject to rape and torture by wharfies (like our poor cars are on the docks when they first arrive) right?

Wicked sick Lethal!!! Scotty - comeon, jump onto the Tint-a-car bandwagon. 180 for Tint-a-car F1 tint is damn fine. Makaveli - better ask lethal if it costs extra to remove the tint. guessing only, but maybe it is the same cos the surface might need to be prepared anyway to put the tint on. Anyone else up to tint their car?? Doesnt have to be a skyline right? Is it the same for any coupe? Just for the other readers out there, how much would it cost to do say a 4 door R33?

Hi ppls I was wondering what sort of things would you absolutely get if you went to Japan that would be hella cheaper than anywhere in Australia. I am wondering like stuff you can bring back with you on the plane (so not like intercooler kits and stuff like that). I was thinking along the lines of like EBCs, ECUs, AFCs etc. Any suggestions or experiences of what ppl have been and done?

Is the C's kit harsh now that u are reducing throw by that much? The Nismo one (i think i got) felt a bit rougher than my old car's shifter (Honda Prelude ones are smooth as) but really once warmed up it is great.

i got a short shifter with the car - never compared it to a non-short shifted one. I think the throw is not all THAT short actually. I think mine might be a Nismo one if it is only 10% shorter What other brands of short shifters are available in Japan (so I can narrow down the brands)? The only ones i hear thrown up around here are the C's and the Nismo ones.

hrm doesnt sound legal checking ppls accts .... maybe he uses a Japan acct to transfer his cash instead of exchanging (and losing money in the exchange)??
