You can buy a USB HDD caddy but make sure its not a cheap shitty one. I bought a cheap nasty one and every hdd i used on it that had partitions, was ruined. (had to be re formated) If you can find a good one, it saves you the hasle of opening up your oc all the time.

All this guy is saying, is that they should check the car before giving the keys back. I would be pissed to. Anything could have happened while driving back home and if it did, i doubt that the mechanics would have owned up to it. If they are honest they might but chances are they would say "it was like that when you brought it here"

Im no mechanic, but it could be a vacuume line or something.

If fixing the bov dont work, i would check the PCV valve too. My mums R31 was doing the same thing but worse and after replacing that little hose, everything was fine.
