So roughly how much do you actually want for this thing?

What is required to do a 5 stud conversion on a 180sx? I would probably try to get some calipers/discs from an R32, perhaps get some DBA discs depending on price. What parts would I need exactly? Has any one done this before and would it even work?

its exactly the same if it is NA just you don't have to bother with the BOV return pipe. the only reason you disconnect it is because the BOV is attached to the intake pipe that goes over the engine and you need to take that off

Only takes about 30 mins to take everything off, change the plugs and put it all back together again. I did mine recently. Pretty easy really. Disconnect the BOV from the return hose, losen off the hose clamps and take off the intake pipe that goes over the top, from memory you have to take off a couple of other hoses as well but it is nothing tricky, just remember where it came from and put it back there after. Then you have a few bolts to get the black panel out. Under that you have the coil packs, they should be on brackets in groups of three. Disconnect the cables going to them and pull the, out, be careful with then as I have heard that they are fragile. and hey presto there's your plugs!! Give the intake pipe and the rocker covers a quick clean and polish while you have it all in pieces, only takes a few minutes.

Pretty much what I am looking for but I would have to sell my skyline first unless you are looking for an R33 Skyline?

Does the car sit lower than standard on these shocks and springs than on the standard ones? Are there any leaks or damage to the shocks? How hard is the ride with these? I don't want to have to wear a kidney belt to drive my car! Were they making any clunking, squeeking or other noises when on the car? Do they have any damper or height adjustment?

I will try to find some pics of my R32 on the weekend, pretty sure I took a couple of close ups of the bonnet and grill.

UPDATE: Price now $20500! This is a real bargain, will take either a cheap small car as a trade in as well!

Who's your quote through if you don't mind me asking? I have just advertised my skyline R33 to buy a cheaper 180sx as well as I can't afford to have so much money tied up in a car at the moment.

Cutting the bonnet is fine as long as you get a nice straight cut and seal and repaint it all properly afterwards so it doesn't rust. My R32 had the bonnet cut and a GTR grille in. I got the Grill from MR-GTR

I saw two of them in the car park outside Gavin Woods AutoTech at Labrador on the Gold Coast last time I was there. You could try giving them a call and asking where they got them from.

Looking reasonably priced 180SX or S13 Silvia (prefer 180) SR20DET 2L Turbo Engine 5 speed manual Prefer klms under 100,000 but not too picky as it will be used for commuting. yeh I believe merli decided to keep his in the end. I was actually looking at getting a very similar body kit put onto mine as it looks really nice. I will try and get some more pics up this evening or tomorrow, depends if I get time today, the cars a bargain for whoever buys it as it cost me a hell of a lot more to buy and put all of these parts on it. Drives beautifully and the white nismo gauges just look awesome.

No body kit, the idea was to leave it looking like a plain R33 and do all of the performance mods. Less likely to be stolen then. I will try to take some more up to date pics today.
