+1 for boostworx

LOL - im making 250RWKW with the stock AFM, so I doubt 190 will stop him Then you should replace the fuel pump before you get a tune, a rising rate fuel regulator would also be a good idea for a little extra insurance and wony cost much Steve are you selling turbos on the side now? LOL 14psi and a stock turbo is asking for a rebuild (it could be in 2 years, or it could be next week). There are examples on this forum of 10-12psi and a few track laps killing standard turbos.

Yes - I as in the Maroon Toyota Surf, just pulling in to Macas for a coffee

Spotted Patrick (PKBLADE) on the corner of Resevour and North East Roads this morning.

In NSW (where people have public access to such testing centres) tuned cars have gotten through the emissions test, but in SA we don’t have any workshops with the gear to do the proper test. Whilst it could be done, it would be expensive here in SA.

That could make a good thread .. stupid comments our girlfriends have made about our cars LOL Although having said that, have you noticed the large number of girls driving skylines at the moment, the way things are heading the skyline could become the next Barina or Celica (wonder if Nissan have approached Sportsgirl for a limeded edition run of cars?)

I have tucked mine up infront of the fuse box, you cant see it unless you open the fuse panel. How often do you use the boost controler? mine is pretty much set and forget (I leave it on low boost, and only open the panel and select high boost on special occasions)

Changing the glovebox to hold the boosat controller isnt a problem, but having a boost controller is. They will argue that increasing the boost may chjange the emmissions, and hence is illegal (basically any mod that gives you more power could be interperated as changing emissions and hence a breach and defectable)

Sounds like tou have suspension problems then, or at the very least "budget" tyres. Spend some money on good tyres and your traction should improve.

Spotted a black 34 with red anidised rims along North East road today, and followed them through to Glynburn Rd

Depending upon the state of my car I wouldnt mind entering. It needs to go back to the crash repairer end of January so I wont know if they will have finished with it by then. -
Nice Ride Welcome to SAU

looks nice congratulations

I picked up my car yesterday (have it back after 7 months) from the suspension workshop, but the crash shop still have some of the parts and dont return to work until the end of January. Has anyone got any of these parts I can borrow until then. 1: - turbo out pipe (the black factory one with the nipple for the boost controler) that runs from up near the engine, down the hole under the air pod. 2. - A Profec B boost control unit (just the black box that sits in the engine bay) 3: - the bracket that holds up the stock air box from underneath. (so I can mount MAXX's Cold air partition properly) 4: - A lid for one of MAXX's cold air partitions. I know they put in a last minute rush to try and finish my car for christmas, but at this stage I am not happy with the quality of some parts of the job. I believe they are expecting the car back (when they return) to fix some bits up, but the parts listed above are just careless ommissions on their part. At least I'll be able to cruse around in the car again.

I'll be there this time, couldnt miss 2 in a row

Sorry to hear that Luke, BUT on the other side.. Schutzenfest is comming up soon, and there are always lots of hot (often drunk) chicks there From memory the hottest ones turn up at the end of the day - the more I drink the more of them I see (Revolation - alchohol must be magnetic)

If you are after suspension for a skyline its hard to go past the Group buy set up bt Sydneykid. Whiteline suspension components and Bilstein shock absorbers 15% discount off recommended retail and free freight if the individual order is over $500. Plus if you spend $1,000 or more you get an additional 5% discount. EDIT: this link is for the Gts-t - are the 32 and 33 GTR's the same suspension? It would be worth PMing Sydneykid for a suspension setup (if there isnt one already) as you will get good advice from someone with lots of experience both on the road and on the track.

Saw some great T-Shirts today for those who want to be identified as part of the SAU group. Ed- Harry had $10 T-Shirts with "Im Sotally Tober" If ever a shirt was made for schutzenfest, this has to be the one LOL

New Front Mount - Intercooler Nipple Line?

My understanding is that you can not be defected in your driveway unless the police are given permission or have a warrent. You are on private property (yours) and there are specific conditions police need to observe prior to entry. Whilst this could stop them giving you a defect I dont think it stops them issuing an infringement notice or parking at the end of your driveway until you pull out. If they ask you "Is that your car, and can we have a look?" and you say "yes", then they have the authority to issue a defect.

225 - are you sure? By the time the centura was in production (1975 -1977) the only straight motors being made by chrysler Australia were the 215, 245 and 265( the latter was never officially available in the centura) The 225 was the stant 6 that was very popular from the R series through to the VG However the 215 and 245 have the same size block as the 265, and it is literally a 1hr job to drop a 265 motor in (RT spec or otherwise) then you had a rocket that could spin wheels on demand (In a past life I was the president of the Chrysler Car Club - and still have a soft spot for them)
-
Have you consideres a Suzuki Sierra? They were the vehicle of choice 10 years ago when I was down the South East. They are very hard to get bogged (due to lite weight) and were cheap enough not to worry about the damage of salt water corrosion. Dont use a Toyota Surf - nice cars but too many problems when driven on the sand - especially the smaller motors.

R33 Changing Indicator To Parker Position
4door_Sleeper replied to POLICE's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I did this when I changed my front bar (which didnt have an indicator spot) Just cut and solder the indicator wires into the parkers and replace the parker globe with one of those silver covered globes that flash orange. You wont have parkers working after this, but who uses them anyway. When its dark use your head-lights, not your parkers (I hit fewer pedestrians that way) -
Use the search luke, use the search its J030N874 for an additional 5% discount - You need to provide a weight and the volumetric measurements (length, width, height) to be given a quote. and was on this thread FREIGHT-FAQ-RECOMMENDATIONS in the "For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)" section of the forum.
