  1. I had to send a front bar back to ACT, and had all sorts of problems until I found Air Road Direct. AirRoadDirect Their price was great, you get a discount for beeing an SAU member (search this site for the discount code) and you can track the delivery online. Turned out costing me less to return the bar (using AirRoadDirect) to the ACT than it cost the company who sent the bar our (using TollIpec)
  2. I purchased my R4DS and 2GM card for $100 from OzModChip.com, and its great (you can get cheaper if you shop around but for the convinience you cant go past OzModChip) I also have 7 DVD's full of games and applications (over 30GB- nearly every DS game made).
  3. +1 and/or check the wiring loom conectors
  4. I run a power FC on mine and have no problems. It is also worth installing the upgraded valve body (see the group buy) and adding a trans cooler.
  5. Are they - I didnt know that
  6. Another vote for the auto and a shift kit (but I may be a little biased) For simillar power on a quarter mile it would be a tough call between the GTR and an auto (down to driver skill) I'd love to have a $ for every GTR i've seen take off at the line and just bog down and do nothing special. When they hook up well they are fantastic, but more often than not I've been disapointed watching the launch.
  7. its in the diary - a great event.
  8. Another useful link to the ADR's (the things you get defected for) http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/mot...adr_online.aspx
  9. At the end of the run I think they said a figure around 300rwkw (but i may be wrong) - black mazda, new turbo and something about traction
  10. I saw it, one of the first runs on Saturday. The rear end wasnt tied down tight enough (I think) and the car moved forward and climbed the front wheel chocks. It didnt instill me with any confidence in the dyno team, not sure what the final figure was for the car, but on that first run they only hit around 200kw (hate to think what could have happened if the car had lots of power)
  11. But dont you live out Elizabeth way? (enough said - only jokes) I believe trains are watched a lot closer than busses.
  12. Is there anyting available for a 33 sedan - crystal would be my preference
  13. get a student ticket $9.10 - if caught (only seen 1 inspector in 5 years) claim you and your kid must have mixed up the tickets (they look identical anyway)
  14. Dont overlook the PFC, I have one in my R33 GTSt auto and have had no problems, (as have others) Have yet to find somewone who has tried a PFC and had a problem (others only know of "someone" that had the problem, but we can never find "someone" when we look)
  15. The police will probably give them 6 months tops if they catch them. A baseball bat to the front of the knees will slow them down for a lot longer (as Tangles and a few others will attest to) I think its time that this was handeled outside of the law (provided video is clear on identifying the guilty pri*k)
  16. Do you have the bit of carpet/moulding that goes on the underside of the boot lid? SA Sale if that helps
  17. A great idea. I think a stock exhaust is the cheapest and best idea. I kept my stock exhaust and springs for just such an occasion.
  18. I have a set of std shocks and springs. Also a stock exhaust (for a sedan but fits a coup - and went through regency) I would prefer not to sell them but I am happy to lend them for cash or booze.
  19. Ok - perhaps showing my age here, but as a someone who was a regular drivein attendee I didnt think you went there to watch the movies That said I wouldn't mind going but you'll understand if I park at the back.
  20. I have been told that with most speeding fines you can succesfully challenge them by asking the police to provide 3 certificates to validate their claim. I think they are a copy of the standards the particular radar was built to, a certificate of compliance to verify the unit meets or exceeds the standards, and a certificate of calibration to show the unit was within calibration at the time the fine was issued. I was told the police will not provide this information and will withdraw their case as you approach the bench (ie they will get you into court, but wont push the issue when you are there) I realise this isnt exactly the same as in your case as you are contesting you were not in control of the car at the time of the offence (however 200km isnt far away) so I would assume you need some evidence to back up your claim and a Layer to present it appropriatly. This advice should not be taken as Legal advice and may or may not apply to your situation You should seek your own legal representation and read the full information and discloasure statements available from my office before taking action. 21. Would you take 300 for the xl? and i'll drop past on the weekend to pick it up.
  22. His house was on the 3rd floor of the slum- the lawn was on his veranda LOL
  23. Can we claim to have officially hi-jacked this thread now LOL (sorry Heslo) Be careful that they dont escape into the jungle - (aka front lawn unmown for 3 years) before you get the parts off them. I heard of a friend who bought a house near Elizabeth, he cut the front lawn and found 2 cars and 3 families of squaters.
