  1. I am with Shannons, and the quality of cover they provide is excellent. The excess is reasonable (unlike others) an d they will accept the mods I have (and I told them of all mods) The premium isnt cheap but compares well with other companies
  2. I've never seen any yet that I thought were too big. You know the scale: A - Almost B - Bearly C - Cute D - Damm E - Exciting F - Fantastic H - Heaven
  3. Spltted a silver 33 with vented bonnet on Lower North East Rd this morning (9:00) - sure ive seen you at SAU events in the past but couldnt put a name to the face. and another silver 33 on North East Rd and then Golden Grove around 10:30am
  4. Spottet Miss Heslo today (I keep following your car) Followed her along Grand Junction Rd, Main North East Rd - where she stalled it taking off with a nice new porche opposite TTPlus - then down Golden Grove and onto Grenfell. (she didnt play guitar on the sun roof however)
  5. No, I was in the 4 wheel drive. The big maroon toyota surf (3L turbo, and no power) that was all over your rear end along North Trc.
  6. Spotted HESLO on West trc this afternoon, followed him down North Trc, (saw u use the wind deflector of your sun roof as a guitar LOL)Melbourne St and North East Rd (bad choice the right lane near ABC, the left lane is quicker) and on to Gillies Planes (drove behind, alongside and infront, waved but the 2 of you were just chatting away) LOL PS I was in the marone 3L turbo
  7. I can also help out. My car has done a few weddings. (and its a good excuse to spend a day polishing it up)
  8. Are you after a loan or a cheap lpace to purchase these? I would only use new for the rack boots; RH rear steer inner rack; left front wheel bearing; left front upper arm; -rh front upper arm bushes The orange side indicator covers could be borrowed.
  9. Sounds like some people havent got past the missionary position with the lights out. (if thats their thing then thats cool) But there is so much more you can do witht the help of 3 midgets, a roll of duct tape, 2 goats and a pool of jelly ...... hmmmmm, i think ill just keep quiet now and walk away.. Keep moving people, nothing to see here.
  10. I have never had a boost spike issue, perhaps its your boost controler or the length of the hose you use. Consider getting a decent one and see iof that fixes the problem.
  11. If you want to cool your intercooler down more why not replace the water with ethonol (or many other products) = problem solved (and you could drink it LOL)
  12. I believe they do. I recall one skyline owner was in the UK. He had a few problems but Mike was great and helped him through over the phone.
  13. You are no longer an 18 year old with no real skills or experience so spend the dosh and get a proffesional to help you write the resume. Pinging is Pre-IGNition (P-ING) so the problem is with the timing. An exhaust MAY contribute, but unless you changed the exhaust after the tune the problem is with the tune. Send it back and tell them you are not happy. Considering we are in cooler weather now (than mid summer) the problem will only get worse when the heat returns. Is sounds like your tune was a little to agressive. You may loose some peek power, but I would rather have reliable power every day than a high figure that will severly reduce the life of the engine. (skylines are known to have ringland problems if the tune is to advanced - but otherwise are over enginered)
  14. No I was driving my 4x4 down the hill.
  15. Spotted Madas heading up towards Inglewood around 4:30 today. Gave a wave but I dont think you saw me (just up from Newmans Nursury)
  16. Anyone know what the Australian price was for one of these when new? I was just wondering if it really is/was a good invelstment (and cant be stuffed using google to find out LOL) Just thinking if the original price was over 200K then its not a great investment over 17 years. Think what a house that cost 200k 17 years ago would be worth today, (in excess of 1mill).
  17. Yes. Just ring Mike on Tuesday.
  18. Get it looked at by a workshop (or the RAA), then decide on how to proceed. If its a $200 fix, it would be cheaper to do it here and drive the car back. (couldn't the family pay via credit card?) If its going to cost too much a trailer might be his best option.
  19. Just spend the cash on a decent alarm. Most Insurance companies will want an alarm befor they insure you, or will give you such a discount for having an alarm that it not worth going without one.
  20. Spotted and spoke to a guy with a nice 33 GTSt sedan at BP West Trc last night. (didnt ask if you were on the forums) Also spotted numerous lines on the rd last night and at TTP carpark.
  21. PS - Whats a skyline?
  22. You have to be kidding I agree the Rex and Evo are great in corners (and perhaps better than a skyline stock for stock) but they are not that much better that a skyline with a few suspension mods and sticky tyres can not cope with. (add some brake mods and the WRX and Evo are no hopers) The advantage of the skyine is the power you can put down exiting the corner.
  23. You do get used to the power, mine only feels faster after I've been driving the 4x4 for a week then take the skyline for a spin on the weekend. You can NEVER have too much power.
  24. Its a great show. Here are some picks I took last year. JK ;-)
  25. Spotted 5:30pm a red? R33 with personalised plates turning into the Grolden Grove Tavern Bottle Shop off of Grenfel Rd
