  1. Give Mick a ring at MV automatics (I think they are open Sat am)
  2. Welcome If your car needs to be inspected to get SA rego, you will have to install a stock plenum (no small job) and a stock BOV. If the exhaust is too loud you may want to fix that aswell. Catch up on a cruise some time.
  3. I went up, saw a few skylines but with all the trafic I never caught up with them to say Hi.
  4. I have done a search and I cant find this. The key word here is SEARCh as in POLICE SEARCH, not a "thou snall not covent thy neibours wife" type comment, which is completly different from police searches by males of females.
  5. I'm keen.
  6. Ok, here is the stock list you need to get the power you want Exhaust - (u have it already) but make sure you have a split dump pipe on it Cold air intake - You could add a pod in a box (ie Maxx's group buy) or just get a decent panel filter for the stock box (good for over 200rwkw and the cheapest option) Intercooler - Dont need anything too special, just a reasonable front mout will do the job. Boost controller - a simple bleed valve if the budget is tight, but some of the electronic ones are available at great prices (especially second hand) and are well worth the cost as they offer much etter control and protect against oost spikes and drop off. Fuel pump - if yours is stock and the car has over 80,000km its probably going to struggle with the bigger horsepower, so check it out and replace if necessary Electronic fuel and ignition management - I prefer the PFC, but their are other options (again second hand is fine) Dyno the whole lot once all of this has been installed. As mentioned SydneyKid has a great group buy on suspension, but if cash is running out at least invest in a set of pinapples. This setup also gives you a sound base if you want more power in the future - just add a new turbo, and perhaps bigger injectors or a rising rate fuel regulator. If the car is close to 100,000km you will also need some cash for a new timing belt and water pump. Hope this helps.
  7. I'm not a bodyworker, but I am fairly sure the 4 door rear pods are different to those on the coupe. A quick check with a tape measure should confirm this
  8. see the first post of this thread. Prices were updated October this year and haven't changes since.
  9. Your refund is returned when you send back a non damaged valve body. Mike then rebuilds your old valve body for the next person.
  10. Yes that was me, just had a DVD and amp installed.
  11. Sorry I didnt see this earlier. I have taken the trim off, and there was no problem. Just unscrew the screws in the door handel (I think they wer all obvious and easy to find) then carfully work your way aroud the edge and pop all of the plastic clips (use a flat screwdriver, spatular etc to help) then remove by lifting it upwards
  12. As the first person to have a PFC and the shift kit in an auto 33 (I think I was first on the forums) I have not been disapointed. My auto is still fine, and whilst the gear changes under full throttle are more harsh, the feedback I have had from others with big KW manuals, is that their shifts can be harsh (or you stall). The auto also shifts whilst still on boost and with the benifits of the torque converter you are still in the power band after the change (unlike a manual) Hope this helps.
  13. I dont mind vinlys if they are tasteful. I'm not a fan of manufacturers names (unless they pay me) and most tribal vinals are only so-so. Get something original that suits the shape of the car, a theme or style that you like.
  14. I had one of these fitted to my 33 today, no problems (but thats a 33) I think they do only have 1 sub RCA at the back, and its not a problem you can always add a Y piece and make it 2 chanels for your amp.
  15. spotted an orange 32 at JB Hi-Fi today - "not-urs" I think - anyone on here? Spotted a white 33 at Woodside this morning 8:30am - anyone on here?
  16. You could always check out the Infamus car club LOL Great place to catch up with 17 year olds in crap cars, get a befect or watch someone stack their car.
  17. Hi and welcome. Good luck with your search, hope to see you around in a 32 soon.
  18. I have room in my car for any nude chiks
  19. Driving style and skill also play a large factor, as will quality tyres. If you cant put down around 230rwkw without loosing traction you need to improve your skills. a 4WD skyline is quicker than 2WD skyline with simillar power if they are launched correctly, but the 4WD will be harder to launch. (just look at the old group A races, the skylines would usually blitz the others off the line, but when they messed up they were eaten by the rest of the pack.)
  20. Added bonus is that you can plug the PFC in yourself and drive to the dyno and get a tune. The PFC isnt obvious, so there is a lot lower chance of a defect than having a SAFC mounted on the dash. There are other options, but bang for buck and simplicity are in favour of the PFC
  21. Spotted Miss33 outside TTPluss around 6pm. Nice car.
  22. And I believe it was one of the only ones stopped by the poluce on the cruise. (something about his driving style I was told)
  23. I cant remember their names (SORRY GIRLS) but the girl on the lest was a friend of patrick (PKBLADE) and the girl on the right was with 4dirty2. Very nice girls/ladies - helpful and friendly, if only I was a bit younger
  24. OK, a few pics I took on the day. The camera realy wasnt up to the task and I had to do some crude adjustments to make the pictures more viewable
  25. Spotted a black 32 (bilybob) along golden grove rd this afternoon, anyone on here?
