  1. No problems, I'll make sure the wok is ready.
  2. Hi PM's sent to all those who expressed an interest. Hope to see you on Sunday.
  3. If you want more power and fun add a NOS bottle and get all the power you could need without the weight adn for a fraction of the price. PS - can I be the listed benificiary(sp?) in your will?
  4. The cruise and BBQ is open to all SAU forum members and their partners & kids.
  5. I'll PM everyone an address middle of next week. If your after a rough guide think of Tea Tree Plaza.
  6. Looks like we have about 15 cars so far. How does this sound for a timeline? Meet at my place around 12:00 (drop off any drinks, food and other unwanted weight from the cars) 12:30 departure and cruise and photo shoot (so polish those cars) 2:30 back to my place for a BBQ and drinks Any suggestions/comments welcome. (Details such as addresses and cruise routes should be PM'd)
  7. Great work.
  8. The date has been set as the Sunday 6th. There was talk about having the cruise first then the BBQ so drinking wouldnt be as much of a problem. Open to ideas.
  9. I agree. I dont have anything to prove by dragging off every other car at the lights.
  10. I'd much rather get an Ariel for a fraction of the cost. (and it would eat up the GTR) check out http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=%22top+gear%22+ariel Now thats a quick car. http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=%22top+gear%22+ariel
  11. anyone interested in organizing a group buy.
  12. Yes of course Better still if you could convince them to wear a wench outfit and serve the drinks that would be cool. I tried to convince Di but had no luck. Wives and rugrats welcome as my 2 kids will be here anyway.
  13. Take it to the Sturt Inspection Center - I did. Yhey are much nicer and dont try to screw you.
  14. If you bring those big chopsticks we could all practice that little trick of yours
  15. The weather is great, so lets do something. I am suggesting a lunchtime BBQ at my place (tea tree gully) followed by an afternoon/evening cruise. Turn up to one or the other (even both) Dates Sunday the 6th - (in the past sundays seem to be a better day for most people) I will provide the place, BBQ some meat, Salads Bread, Sauce etc. You bring your car, drinks and meat. Address and cruise route sent out by PM a lot closer to the date. Open to others thoughts and input. New SAU people welcome
  16. You couuld/should use a pipe flaring tool on the end of the pipes befor you ad a hose and clamps. This should prevent them from comming off.
  17. I have more than 220rwkw and havnt changed the AFM yet (but I am considering it for the next lot of mods) If you only want 220rwkw then you wont need to change the injectors either (they are expensive) if you run a rising rate regulator. If you think in the future you will try for more than 250rwkw then you should consider getting the AFM and injectors because you will need them.
  18. let me know when and where.
  19. I'm keen. How about posting this in the SA Forums aswell so more of us will see it.
  20. knock - shown by a flashing engine warning light when you have a PFC water temp - Shown on the instrument cluster on all skylines (called a temp guage) revs - Shown on the instrument cluster on all skylines (called a tacho) speed - Shown on the instrument cluster on all skylines (called a speedo) inlet air temp (in GTR) - so you know the outside air temp. I use the weather service on the news to get this (the day before) afm voltage (never needed to know this) There are other devices you can use to monitor/log your engine figures, and a log over time is probably better than trying to read it whilst driving. I dont have the controller, I trust the tuner (which I am not and never will be) to set the car up correctly on the dyno. I worry about those who tamper with their PFC hand controllers and end up with a car out of tune. Everyone one has their own opinion, but I wouldnt consider having one as a necessity
  21. Electro Lube is another cleaner I have used on my AFM. I have also removed the mesh AFTER the AFM, but left the on in the front in place just incase something large gets through the filter.
  22. What are people up to this weekend? The local weather looks like it will come good (fine and a max 19) on Sunday, so I guess it will be time to fire up the BBQ for breakfast, lunch and tea and watch the race. If you want to drop past and have a sausage and/or beer feel free.
  23. I rang Repco and Motor Traders and they had no luck with the 2 268 063 107 part number. They agreed it sounds like a Bosch number but it didnt register on their systems.
  24. Dont you just hate it when you pull up late to work and someone has stolen your car park. I found a way to get back at the bast**ds today Apologies if this is your car, but DONT DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!
  25. Hi Andrew I dont think they sell Odyssey, but there is a battery wholesaler on Research Rd Pooraka near the Bridge Rd end.
