  1. There is a great "group buy" for springs, shocks etc all set up for an R33. If you have the cash this would be the way to go. The shocks/spring are dead easy to remove, jack the car up to remove most of the load on the springs; undo the nuts at the top and the bolt at the bottom, jack it up a bit further and it will fall out. Repeat in reverse to reassemble. There are plenty of good front mouns for sale (new and second hand) as a minimum get a GTR unit, or the Hybrid units are quite good. Make sure it includes all pipes and silicon joiners (between $500 and $1000) Boos t needs to be kept a lot lower than 20psi unless you change the turbo. I wouldnt worry to much about 12psi, but 14psi for any length of time can be a great way to get a new turbo. To help you here make sure you get a good bleed valve and ensure boost dosnt creep too high under load, or better still get an electronic boost controller. If you want to run 20psi with any turbo you will need to upgrade your fuel asystem as well (pump and injectors) PS you will need a new ECU to make the most out of your mods. Most people recommend a Power FC, but there are others. Hope this helps.
  2. Thats why yours is so slow
  3. The quality of the cars at last years extreme HP show was a lot higher than this years Autosallon. There is a good mix of imports, US and Aust muscle cars and hot rods. There are a lot of dedicated show cars there (with painted chromed undercarages etc) as well as a lot of high quality daily drivers. I entered my car last year and had good weekend, but I was never in the running for a trophy (if thats what you are after)
  4. They (NSW and Qdl) are often over here in SA keeping an eye on us. <_< This its how the AFL get to pinch our good players and then call them their own.
  5. You can get bodykits fron AutoBahn, D1 Garage and others, but sometimes itsa just as easy to shop online at places such as jetspeed.com.au or aresspeed.com.au or tokyotoys.com.au
  6. I'll keep an eye out.
  7. Congratulations and welcome to a life of prostitution and debauchery as you forever try and find more money for the next mod on your car. Skylines Australia (SAU) isn’t really a formal club here in SA, but we do get together from time to time for dinners, cruises or other events. Keep en eye open on this forum for details. Another alternative is SVD (Nissan Special Vehicles) http://www.svd.asn.au/ for a more of a formal club. They have all sorts of Nissans, including skylines.
  8. I'll try and remember to bring some business cards to the next cruise so you guys can get all the details.
  9. Click on the website below and enter your postcode for the best petrol deal in oyur area. The old site I used to use for this went to pay per view, but this one is free. http://petrol.racv.com.au/inc_postcode_search_results.jsp
  10. anyone want to organise a time/place to head off from?
  11. Sorry a typoo - i meant an R32 Nothing wrong with the performance of a 32, just that they look 10 years older , and not as keen on their interior
  12. I just need some of the parts
  13. No problems.
  14. Sounds like it might be worth a group cruise up there to support SK, and maybe get a few pointers in setting up a car.
  15. anyone have some pictures?
  16. Stop bye - they arnt a bad group.
  17. My wife prefers her 33 to a r2.
  18. Sounds good. I believe Nightcrewlers place is empty at the moment.
  19. This Sunday (the 25th of September) They tend to be steady/slow cruises most of the time (though not quite as slow as our last one)
  20. Any idea on prices, I wouldnt mind a shirt.
  21. I dont know if I'd want to use a second hand Tie rod Have you checked out Nissans price on a new one, sometimes their prices are very cheap (othertimes very exensive)
  22. Do you have an address or phone number (for those of us too lazy to get up and find the yellow/white pages)
  23. I think the problems with Tillbrooks stem from thje days when Mick (SubZero?) was there. Mark is a top bloke, and their work is good (now Micks left)
  24. I have a 5 mega pixel one if you need it for a while. Just PM me.
  25. For the money, I would like to see the car myself before purchasing it. Return airfare isnt that much, and if you can make it a long/dirty weekend away, then it won't really matter if the car is in great condition and you didn't need to go. (however if the car is not up to scratch the cost is well worth it)
