  1. Please PM me when you have it planned.
  2. Back from my holidays, and have access to a computer again. :-) Thanks to those who turned up (sorry I can't remember the names R31 and a 33GTR) Saw a few nice lines drive through (a couple of 33s (one white {with a veilside kit} and a black one missing its dashboard) In the end there was a good turnout of imports (more GTi-R's than I have ever seen in my life) as well as a few very nice silvias. Thanks again to those who said hello, and if your ever in Adelaide give me a call and we will return the favour.
  3. Thanks again guys (and girls) I'll try and be there about 8pm (Ill be the one in the GTR shirt rubber necking at the imports)
  4. Thanks for the quick responces. Looks like i'll have to visit milton maccs on Thursday night. What time do things kick off? no use getting there 2 early coz I'll only end up eating too much (can a stomach be considered excess luggage when flying?) I'd rather go home with a few new bits for the car.
  5. Hi guys and girls I'm flying up to Brisbane on Wed and staying for a few days in an apartment near the city (Melbourne st -westend I think) and thought it would be a chance to put faces to some of the names I regularly see here on the forums. Looks like there is no organised cruise this weekend but I was wondering if you (or other imports) meet informally at any local spots (that are easy for rubber necked visitors to find) I don’t know if I will have Internet access at the apartments, (so it may not be worth replying later in the week - I'll logon if I can though), but I just thought it would be good to see what goes on in the land of the banana benders.
  6. AutoTrust, thanks for the complement. Good to see there are others who know of the benifits if a 4 door (ie. have you ever been pulled over and defected, I havn't been yet) I'd also like a copy of the video please.
  7. Glad to hear the good news dean. It must be your turn to organise the next cruise then,. I bet your hanging to get out and drive the skyline again.
  8. I'd love to here the final specs for your turbo, as its the next mod I need for my skyline, and it sounds much better than $2-4000 for a reconditioned HKS or Garret.
  9. Anyone know the diff ratios for an auto (and a manual)? I thought the auto had a lower diff ratio (good for top end speed but sh*t for quick take-offs.
  10. Great cruise, good to catch up with people again. Hey Hippy, where did you go????
  11. My auto runs well at 180rwkw (a bit of a disapointing fugure) I run 13 PSI, a PFC, FMIC, 3" exhaust and rising rate reg. My injectors are now at 70% (so i have plenty of room to increase power) I am hoping a HKS2530 turbo will get me a lot closer to 250rwkw. I will also include a trans cooler and an electronic line pressure switch to make for crisp shifts and a cooler trans.
  12. can anyone translate the Japanese
  13. I am keen to go, and my wife says its OK so long as I dont drive too fast (the kids say "go faster dad") Perhaps she could get a ride with you hippy
  14. If you are out TTG way I would recomend (RevTech ??) in Ridgehaven. Bodie built a very nice custom stainless exhaust for me, and his prices are very good.
  15. Day cruise?? Down to Victor (the scenic route), lunch at Victor/Goolwa and back again?? (Could tis be a family day? - Not sure how many others have wife and/or rug rats they may want to bring along) How about an observation/cannonball run - you know winner determined on a combination of best time, fewest km and answers to a series of questions
  16. Im hanging for a cruise any one got any ideas on the route, time or date? (post ideas below or PM and we will notify those interested in the usual way)
  17. Thanks guys Simon was able to get another controler, and has been able to tune the car.
  18. Hi all My car is in at MorPower at the moment and their hand controllers are not interfacing with my PFC. Has anyone got a hand controler that I could borrow? and finish off the dyno work. If you could PM me your phone number soon it would be much appreciated.
  19. VIPERGTSR01, whats with the comment - (happy with 200-250rwkw) I thoght the first rule you need to learn with cars and power is "that you never have enough" :-) SLY - if you want to run in the turbo up the George - give me a yell, it could be fun :-)
  20. Good to hear you finished it mate have you finisher running it in yet? (2000 km at 80km/hr = 25hrs driving :headspin: ) I am guessing that after all this time without the car you would run it in in one session (after all you can always stop at macas for food, so there is no real reason to get out) Be very interested in your dyno results when you get them
  21. Sorry to hear that mate. I have 95% of a stock exhaust at my place (from just infront of the Cat, back to the rear muffler and tips) If you need a loan you are most welcome.
  22. If you email me your design Ill try and get it cut. It may take a little while over x-mass due to their busy workload and shutting down for a while to go on a holiday. PS we can also cut mat boards. If you want to frame a picture with a fancy mat, maybe some skyline cut-outs and you place pictures behind these, it can also be done
  23. Alternativly we could all donate our old stock bits (as we replace/upgrad them) to a well equiped back yard shed. For a small fee of $50 members of this forum could drive in, borrow the bits and use some tools to return the car to stock specs again, and then go through regency. Question is dose anyone here have access to such a shed/workshop? I am sure that organising the parts wouldnt be that hard (I have a standard exhaust, cooler, ECU for a 33), and I am sure many of you have also kept bits "just in case".
  24. I might be able to help (those in SA) My wife is a picture framer and they use a Gunnar ?? mat cutter to cut fancy mat boards (the bit between the pic and the frame) They can import vector graphics and have the mat cutter do the work. We haven’t tried this yet as we aren’t good at vector graphic work, and haven’t tried cutting with vinyl If you can email me a suitable graphic tell me where to get the vinyl at a good price (not a whole roll, just a bit big enough for a few attempts) then Ill give it a go. If it works out OK I could probably get forum members work cut for little more than the cost of the vinyl.
  25. It a good idea as some of the factory pumps are getting a bit old now and I ahve heard they can let go.
