Well said John. Most of the current SAU crew weren't on the forums (many didn't even have a licence) when John, Kier and Martin - along with a few other - were regulars on this forum. If it weren't for these guys the skyline/import scene wouldn't be a fraction of what it is today. They have all earned a certain amount of respect, so let them say their piece and move on. Good to hear your 33 is going again, hope to see it in action some time.

Despite the praise others lay on their crash favourite crash shops his reputation is the best, and his work if faultless. (Makes Doyle's etc look like they use brooms to apply the paint - he is just that good)

Check out the group buy section for the Auto trans valve body. Call MV automatics (see the group buy) and they will give you all the advice you require. I have an auto and highly recomend the upgrade (as do many others)

Or (budget method) just jack up the front end and use blocks to keep the wheels off the ground.

Back then the Stagea wasn't available as an import, I still remember the Zoom? article about the first one being brought in and testing for compliance. Skylines were an uncommon site in 02, but now they are like a clitoris, every c**t has one.

Remember back then a skyline was way out of reach of most P-platers. They tended to belong to those who had been in or were looking for something different than, the Street machine (torana/falcon) style. There were proportionally lots of well moded machines rather than the more common exhaust and pod style we see so much of now.
