  8. doing around 6000km's on mineral oil... @ stock boost levels. apart from that dont thrash the shit outta it, and vary your revs a bit for the first 1000km.

  10. Just thought i might say i picked up my car from MRC 2 weeks ago, after getting a rebuild. More than happy with the wrok carried out and the service privided by MRC in castle hill and i would highly recommend him to everyone here. The pistons used were ACL mahle, and they are extremely quite. And the difference in the engine is astounding. Although i have only done just over 1000km on the new engine, i would say he has done an excellent job with the car. DK

  12. I have a Brand new nissan headgasket up fro sale, left over from my engine rebuild. as well as the gakset betweek turbo and manifold. as well as i think manifold gasket (rubbery one) Open to Offers Not really sure how much its worth ? 0423351093
  13. Stock injectors would max out at around 210rwkw. If the guy selling is claiming 250, check for new computer and new injectors. and stock internals can handle upto 300rwkw. but then reliablity becomes an issue

  15. Battery Relocation, and a pair of 8" subz will fit in neatly under the parcel shelf, however you have to consider the Hicas unit on the top right of the area. But then you will need to relocated the battery, somewhere in the boot most likely. This occupying the same amount of space or similar to a sealed 12" box floating in your boot. You just have to weigh up things, work out how far you want to go with the whole install. Also a good thing to do before putting an enclosure under the parcel-shelf, would be to upgrade the Fuel Pump. Saves messing around later.   16. Sounds like you have a faulty deck mate. If its new, return it, or claim warranty. If its old then time to upgrade

  18. You will need AfterMarket Computer Injectors turbo Manifold and prolly new cams Also dont forget to upgrade your brakes
  19. I would suggest using the factory grill for 2 reasons: 1. The doors are slightly curved especcialy the drivers side 2. Keeps the install stealth thus less luring to potential theives. As for connectors, i would Highly recommend using new wiring, as the factory wiring is of quite poor quality. And as for joins, i would recommend you Solder and Heatshirnk all connections, however you can crimp connectors on if you wish. DK
  20. They will fit, however the speakers will nto directly "bolt on" into the stock plastic mould. You will have to remove the plastic mould (4 screws) and make up a custom pod from a sheet of mdf. Simple really takes 30mins of messing around. You will need a: Sheet of MDF 1 x M6 Tap - to tap the screw holes out for the bolts. 8 x M6 Bolts long enough to go through the thickness of your MDF sheet and 5mm more to go into sheet metal. 1 x Sheet of MDF i would recommend 12mm and some silicon to put between the wood and the metal as a seal.   21. first 50km my car will be on dyno, then i gonan drop the oil, drive for 500km drop the oil. but boost level will be 10psi is, just keep it under 3000rpm... should be right. just wanted to know about installing the pfc n injectors... looks like i will do it after the engine is run in....
  22. ATM my engine is out gettin rebuilt. it will be tuned to push out 240rwkw with a gcg hiflow. Currently i have stock ECU and stock injectors. I want to know would you recommend that i get the injectors and PFC in during the rebuild process, or after the moter has been run in? The later enabling the car to be revved up in the tuning process without damaging my new engine. Thanx in Advance
  23. $75 fine for having a car unlocked is no new 1. they can legally give you a fine if your car is unattended with a window slightly down, as the car is not "secure".
