only ever used Bp ultimate.... was thinking the other day about those 'el cheapo' fuel pumps, and thinking if there premium is really premium, or do they just use unleaded... :S

ur ecu would be reset everytime... and if you got an aftermarket tuned, you wouldnt want to go get ur car tuned after everytime u park up

yeah, but there is only a tiny hole maybe 1cm in diameter, to put the baffling through so no real way of baffling it... and yes i will be returning the lines... hmmm guess ill be making my own and using this as a radiator surge tank.. Also does any1 know of any places other than Earls that sell Hose adaptors and the lot for a cheaper price?? thnx

Just how necesarry is catch can baffling? The reason i ask is i have aqcuired a catch can, which i am unable to baffle. Will there be any point in using it without baffling? Or should i just use it as a riced up radiator overflow tank???

Hey i am after an electronic boost controller, that does everything tossing up between an avc-r and the blitz sbc i-d III... or any other suggestiosn you may have? so if someone can please suggest to me which way i should sway it would be greaT.. current mods are Apexi Air filter Blitz fmic GCG hi-flow turbo 3" Turbo back exhaust hi flow cat GFB BOV turbosmart dual stage b-controller

My car was imported in 2002, and has a GCG hi-flow Turbo... so the turb, cant be older that 3 years. I bought it runnign 7psi low, and 14psi high boost.... and whilst changing the oil yesterday noticed a bit of oil around the bottom of the turbo, my question is would the seals have worn out this quickly? or may it perhaps be a due to loose bolts? I will take pictures this weekend and post them up... The car still booosts fine, and holds boost... so im not sure any help appreciated

i read sumwhere, that r33's have bad power lines to the ecu, so i was thinking of running a power to the ecu, so when i get my pfc, it will have power ready to go

Just installing a system in the skyline, and so wantign to know which side of the car the power cables run on (passenger/driver) its an R33 gtst... Thanx

thanks for your suggestion, i called GCG turbos, and they said the turbo is good for 260kw and 24psi boost... but as you said i will require injectors and pump, as i want it to be a reliable 250rwkw... Should i be leaning towards upgrading fuel lines aswell, and will a fuel regulator be in order?

Hey i just recently purchased a r33 S1, and am goign through the process of workign out whats been done... As far as i know it has the following GCG Hi-flow turbo (happily discovered last night) Aftermarket dump pipe welded onto a hi-flow cat, and i think 3" exhast thereafter. HKS Pod Filter Blitz FMIC GFB BOV Turbosmart Dual Stage Boost Controller Apexi Turbo Timer Stock ECU Now I am thinking about upgrading the fuel pump, so i opened up the cover in the boot, and just see a few fuel hoses and sum gland thing.... which everythign goes down into... Do i have to take this gland thing off the find out what fuel pump i have. If someone can enlighten me on this process it would be great, and also how to tell if its a stock fuel pump in there now. I was also thinking if the car may have injectors? or would this require the mapping of an aftermarket ecu? hence ruling out injectors? That said I will soon be installing a PFC, and not sure wether i should get the PFC Boost Control add-on... or another after market electronic boost controller, such as an AVC-R? I would prefer to stick with a PFC addon, as dont really want extra gadgets unneccesarily, however am unsure of the accuracey, reliability and the ability for a PFC B-controller to hold boost, and wether boost can be tuned through the rev range with this unit? Also i want to install an oil catch can some time this week, however all the cans i have seen only have 1 inlet 1 outlet.... i want a 100% plumback can, that i can have easy access to baffle, and require 2 inlets and 2 outlets.. should i just use "T joiners" or will this restrict flow. Am i better of just making my own? Sorry bout the overly long post... just wishign to clear up a few things i am unsure of... thanx in advance, and please keep the suggestions reasonable... and dont go suggesting i get this and this and that to get 500rwkw.. more than happy to get 250rwkw at the end of the day thanx
