hi im in the us and just got my r33 and was wondering where do you guys buy you aftermarket rims and tires because over here its like 3 months special order to get some so i was wondering if you guys have any rim websites that are located in either the uk or japan that have fittments for skylines in stock so i don't have to wait till the end of summer to get my rims also does anyone know if a set of 19x9.5 rims will fit an r33 gtr and how much off set are we talking for 9.5s is it around +12 or am i mistaken

i can't wait to see one on the streets state side, im so sick of seeing just honda hatchback rice mobiles with the huge honda H in the window. It would be nice to see nissan take some honda heads and put them in a real car. did anyone else notice the tops of the front fenders have the same pinch style venting as the z-tune gt-r. its kinda of a diffrent look i've been debating whether i like it or not but whats not to like on the z-tune..

the one im getting is an r33 gt-r v-spec i would love to have an r34 but the budget didn't quite allow for it but... I do have anothe 15 or 20k to mod it with so it should be fun, the reason i was looking for the mines upgrades is because i wanted to see what their major bolt ons were. In hopes to keep the same type of engine response thinking as the r34 in the best motoring avi. right now the only thing i havent been able to find that im going to start with is a carbon fiber trunk lid (the search continues). but thanks for all the helpful info and i promise as soon as i pick it up ill throw some pics up here for you guys. p.s. also looking at picking up a pulsar gti-r for 11gs u.s. its a 96 i think all stock i know it has an sr20det and its awd but other than that im clueless are they hard to make serious horsepower out of? thanxs again guys and if anyone comes across the elusive carbon fiber trunk lid i would be greatly appreciated. :bananaman

thanxs for the help guys ill get that translated asap as for the r34 in the states not on my coast i haven't seen any ... yet i have heard of quite a few in california imported thru motorex but they wouldn't have had one ready for 4 months and only r33s and r32s but i found one in new york its just getting the finshing touches on it and should be done the entire conversion in just a couple of weeks. then shes all mine its an r33 gt-r v-spec i can't wait its just getting to spring and the east coast show circuit is just getting started so hopefully the plans i have for it will be finished by sema time if anyone knows where i can get a carbon fiber trunk lid for an r33 shipped to the us it would also be very helpful once again thanxs for the help guys ill get some pics up when i get it in hand

so i have a few questions you say the next skyline is going to be a v35 or something along those lines not an r35 but the newest issue of sport compact car says that nissan is building to the release of the new r35 gt-r with the release of the 05 nismo Z-tune r34 (which oddly enough is the most ridiculous car ever). so what is really going on are they going to stick with the cars they have released for you guys over here or are they actually going to produce a new gt-r (infinit or non)?

hey guys i see your interested in eclipses i actually happen to own one my is a 2nd gen 97 eclipse rs na but soon to have a turbo (probably a star kit or hahn haven't decided yet) but to answer the model and turbo or non questions for you the models of each company vary(eagle models are esi,tsi and lasers were only turbo) the mitsubishi models are the rs like mine is non turbo about 135whp from mitsubishi the gs which is basically a rs with power windows a moon roof cruise and a rear wiper same hp the gs- t is front wheel drive like the other two the only diffrence is here instead of having a 420a non turbo it comes with a motor out of an evo called the 4g63 which some of you may already know and last but no least the gsx mitsubishis greatest production next to the evo and the vr-4 3000gt its awd a 4g63 like the gs-t and the same horspower about 165 to the wheels but the jury is still out on what is the greatest dsm also dsm covers all kinds of mitsubishis including 1st and 2nd gen eclipses(not the third gen too much chrysler involved) the evos even jdm ones the 3000gts turbo and non and galant vr-4s i'm not really sure why they don't include ftos or gtos or other jdms if they use all 8 editions of the evo if you have anymore questions i would check out dsmtuners.com great site p.s. ill send you guys a picture of mine

hey guys im from the us and i just got an 95 r33 gt-r vspec and i am having a fairly hard time getting parts and rims so i was just wondering if anyone on here knows where to get skyline parts in the us. or if any of you know what us released vehicles that have the same bolt pattern so i could at least start shopping for rims also do you know of anybody who makes cf hoods in the us thanx guys

C'mon man, this is getting really tedious... here goes on behalf of Funkymonkey: how can there be an R36 when there isn't even an R35? And why would Nissan design a new car based on one that was originally designed in the early '90s? I see you're from the US... well i see i've touched a nerve well let me spill some american knowledge on you why would nissan design a new car based on one that was designed in the 90s, why did porshce wait 8 years to bring back a 911 turbo in the late 90s and an r 35 prototype was produced and never reached outside japan obviously you must not be from the us

well you all should be happy in about a year they are going to put into production the r 36 it is loosely based on a r34 but has the vq35 out of the 350 and infiniti which isn't all bad it will come awd and with a factory nismo twin turbo making in the area of around 400 hp so if you do or you don't like the infiniti version it shouldn't resemble it that much the only odd thing is it will be called the infiniti gt-r go figure
