  4. Not that im hijacking the thread or anything, but since where on the subject of zorsts and size... Is there much improvement for a 3.5" over a 3" turbo back on an rb20 making 200rwkw ?? Is the extra 0.5" really worth it ? if so how come few people have them...
  5. how much better is an HSK Highpower or an Apexi N1 than a Mettams or say a cypher ??(they quoted me $1500 full turbo back) are they worth the extra $$ ??

  7. i got told they were expensive for doing work on a car, i didn't think that nessasarily ment that they would be expensive for parts. I went there cos i didn't know any other place that stock HKS and Apexi exhausts. I understand that they are expensive and i have no problem with that. I just wanted someone to say that that was a fair price so i know im not paying more than is nessesary Now i know to try mettams thanx mate

  9. Im organising my first mod for my stock 32gtst which is of course the zorst. Im getting the dump/front and high flow cat of BATMBL for a good price now i just need to sort out my cat back. I wanted the Apexi N1 but i talked to xspeed and they said they don't have any in stock and they were over a grand anyway ( I was looking to pay more like 8 hundered'ish) they said they are getting some HKS high power's in at the start of next month for $865. So basically is there anywhere in perth to get a zorst cheaper ? and what does everyone think of the High Power ? I don't mind paying $865 but i just thought id check if you guys knew a better place...
  10. I have been doing a little (very little) research into putting a 25 in my 32gtst before i choose a turbo. I figure a 2530 is the right choice for a 20 but not the right choice for a 25. Anyway the thing i cant seem to get a straight answer on is price !! i have heard from 4 to 10 grand to put a 25 in, does this sound right ?? how much was it to put the 31 in ? what NEEDS to be changed to put a 25 in cos i think that is where the big price variations are comming in. AFAIK (which isn't much) a 25 pretty much just drops in ??. All my mates are bagging the idea cos they think if you are going to put a 25 in why not a 26 in... but that needs a whole lot more stuff to be changed right ? anyway sorry for all the questions but i want to start some serious modding but i feel i have to make my mind up to do the engine swap or stick with the 20 before i buy a turbo or put any more money into the car.

  12. I read an article once about a guy who put an rb26 in an R31 and was running a T51R i think. He had 300rwkw, could have run more but the stock GTR injectors were maxing out.
  13. If you can get the 2530 with a T3 flange (i have done a bit more research and they do come with either the T2 or T3) for $1900 I will definately be getting one off you soon, just need a few more weeks to save up
  14. about 27kw's and 100kg's less. stock for stock i think 33's are only about 0.2 seconds quicker over a quater mile. Buy a 32, drop an rb25 in it and you'll never look back... except maybe to see a few angry 33 drivers after you leave them for dead at the lights
  15. check this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=69151 seems like this is fairly common, mine does it aswell. im gona fix the air regulator soon im pretty sure the air regulator is my problem cos if i take it out for a drive and it really warms up the idle eventually falls down to about 1000. I haven't fiddled with my screw yet but i will once i get to to start idleing around 1000 to get it down to 750'ish.
  16. Just a question about the 2530... what flange do they normally come with ? cos i heard they normally come with T2 but sometimes come with T3. Anyway i assume these come with T2 so i just have to buy an adapter kit to make it T3 is that correct ? any ideas where i can get just the kit, cos your price for the 2530 (I know you still have to confirm) is really good but i have no idea how much a kit costs
  17. 1) I think a gtst with 230-250 rwkw is a bit more than "average" for a gtst 2) a thought 32 and 34 gtrs were like 1480 or 1490 kgs ?? so if he stripped a bit of weight off the power/weight ratio wouldn't be that different
  18. not that im picking sides or anything, but i can't stand it when i see some1 getting picked on. I just read the thread and he wasn't all that rude, and it seemed like Strutto did a little bit more than "told him not to be rude to Erin"... he really blasted him about it.
  19. So let me get this straight, some 2530's were made with T3 flange but most were not ? or were they all made without T3 but if you have the kit you can change the flange to T3 ??

  21. I think i've heard they are capable of handing around 250rwkw's before you need to start strengthening internals.
  22. with 3" turbo back, FMIC and 11psi im sure that it could go a lot better than 14.4
  23. i doubt there would be much interest for a stock 33 gtst at 25k
  24. do all 2530's come with T3 flange ?
  25. why get agro with him for asking if ppl have recieved parts ? maybe he wants to buy something off you and just wants a little assurance.
