wil there be a heating issue with them made in steel?? ie with teh lights on?? then again there is a layer of paint over it so that could be enough insulation?? good effort though.....always nice to have a lazer cutting machine on hand:D:D

if it was just a scuff then id probably let the guy off but that to me looks looks alot more than a scuff. honestly who cares if he's a poor student...i was too but to let ur car roll and hit another car you would at least have the decency to try to pay for damages even if in instalments. he's one lucky guy to have an accident with a nice guy(you) but dont let him walk over you. who knows he could be an international student whos parents are loaded:D:D

LOL:D:D obviously its best if u wash it straight away before it sets instead of jumpin online to check with others first:D:D j/k just hit it hard a couple times with hi press hose to knock most of it off and soak it. then as stated above wash it like normal. depending on how long u leave it it will leave a mark where its eaten into the paint but thats chemistry for ya. just buff it off if u can.

it should be about $66 like every other place i think. i went to that tyrepower place and they were alright and the actual service turnover was fast. but they never asked if i wanted to jump in the car with them for the test drive. they just took off without sayin anything. oh did they chek ur battery too? i didnt ask them to check it but when i opened my boot i noticed the middle of my boot cover for the battry and fuses was torn up because they couldnt be bothered takin the centre cap off that holds the plastic lining up. how did i now they checked the battery because tehre was a big sticker saying so!! wasnt too happy about that. ive been to traction tyres and im definitly goin back there again:D

just remember if its done it once it'll most probably do it again. like when i went to the shops and i accidentaly pressed the switch it went down 2cm but not back up again so i had to go home:D:D theres no way im gonna leave my car with my windows slightly open in springvale:D:D

man is it coincidence or is everyones drivers window motor dying on them?? just out of curiosity what yr is your car and everyone esles whos window has died this yr?? mines a 95 and it has recently died on me also. someone in the other post picked one up for 120 s/h.

yeah i know ur motor is stuffed....so is mine. but like i said "once in a while" it will acutally turn over for a "sec", thats when u push it up.

DVD's maybe and even a handfull of basic servicing products like sparkies and oil(2 brands max say like motul and fushc) for the same price or better than autobahn. oh and a hidden gambling den in the back with flipping pool tabels that turn into roulet tables:D:D

did u read my post in the other thread? have a listen carefully to the motor...once an a while it will actually turn over but shit itself again. when u hear it turn over quickly push the window up from inside the door trim with ur hands or pull it up if it is sticking out of the top. thats how i did mine. other than that do what chop's did disasemble and take the motor out and put some wood in there.

Q2 - do a search. theres a box that u have to hunt down. just listen and follow the sound then kill it!!

hey guys, im due for my 100k and im planning to change my water pump too while im at it to a N1 item. what id like to know is do i need to change all the other parts associated with the water pump like thermo stat, radiator hose...ect. reason i ask is that i got quoted 700 for aftermarket water pump, nizmo thermo stat, radiatior hose, ect....im thinkin its abit overkill, but hey maybe it isnt. also my engine occasionally makes a loud squeeling sound on start up which i think could be a bearing?? wats the going cost for replacing idler and tension bearings?? cheers.

my power window hasnt been workin for weeks now and its bloody anoying when u go drive thru or need to talk to someone. wat u do is flick the switch up a couple times till u hear the motor turn and then help it out by pulling up on the window with ur hand. or disconect the motor from the switch and run alternate power to it. mine didnt seem to work when i did that so i assume my motors stuffed not my switch. JAPCAP -- any chance u could find out what motor that was?? im sure theres other motors out there that would fit. maybe 200sx motors??

i dont think it being auto or manual makes any difference...then again i might be wrong. 3.5.....id be surprised if u actually felt anything at all. my friends 32 was auto and stock boost and it felt like it was running more than 3.5. what are your settings on ur ebc now? 3.5?? if its just the settings and everything else seems ok it should be safe to take it up to 7psi or 10 if u really want. i would seriously check out ur readings before goin ahead though.

make sure theres no kinks or squashed parts on the boost guage hose. it should be running 5psi low revs and 7psi top end.
