  1. any industry trolley jack thats worth about 200 or so will do the job. compare that to 25bucks from someplace like supercheap and it pretty much answers all questions:D yeah i agree that bending those flaps will do shiit all to the integrity of the car but boy do they look terrible when u do bend em. and yes u dont need to jack the car up to change the oil:D:D
  2. my mistake.....it could have been a kakimoto sys like this one
  3. by dual sys do u mean fron the turbos? or from the cat? i have a dual N1 from cat back and last time i saw jagr33 he had the same one too if im not mistaken. and as for the breakin, ud be surprised how big the scene is. BOTY says it all. wats fresh burners by the way??
  4. now thats just plain EVIL..lol
  5. i always liked "foreign bar devils" but "super fun happy sliders" sounds great and would look better in jap characters.
  6. yeah id check ur bushes too.
  7. i think ud be better off crackin some wallnuts than the 33 garnish....at least ud get something out of it..a wallnut..hehe. but yeah the 33 is sealed all around and the only way id assume u can get it appart without breakin anything is using a heatgun or soak it in boiling water but then u might just melt the damn thing or get water inside it:D:D if ur not too concerned about keepin it factory just get a stanley knife and cut out a hole big enough out of the backing black plastic...its soft enough. stick whatever u want to stick in there and seal it up with another piece of plastic. no ones gonna see it.
  8. no tires?? ...wow. i had always planned to wack on some r32 gtr rims too on my black r33 cause those 5 spokes in gun metal looked cool...until i realised they were about the 1k mark with tyres. so i just grabbed a set of black jap 16" by 7.5 for 300 bucks....bargain! ive seen em on a 33 and they look alright but for the price and abit more u could probably go 17"'s which would look much better.
  9. since were on the topic of beer....i picked this up when i was with mates in milan italy eating dinner in a so-called jap restaurant that was run by chinese:D:D when they whipped this out we were like woahh!!....im takin this home:D:D it comes with a handle for obvious reasons. 2L of goodness....cant wait till i hit japan in the next 2 weeks....woot!! it sits on my desk for memories:D:D
  10. wat kind of sound does it make?? mine makes a horrible squeel on start up on once in a blue moon esp when its cold for about 10 secs. is that the noise ur talkin about?? and never believe what ur odo reads unless u have the service manual to proof it.
  11. mine were factory perfect untill i went at them with the trolley jack.
  12. yeah ive buggerd my rails too using a trolley jack and theres no way of gettin it back to orignial for too...sigh. i was thinkin of making an insert on a lathe to sit in the trolley jack to make it fit like a normal jack. as for jackin points....the manual says diff and crossmember.
  13. a cow??....which suburb was this?....lol i can understand a dog but a cow??
  14. i think the idea is u can drift in pretty much any car....it all comes down to the setup and where u put ur money. its not really fair to judge how a car drifts by jumpin in one thats not set up for it. that said im sure a nicely set up skyline will drift sweetly just like a nicely setup rx-7 or a VL:D:D
  15. thats one hot lookin bloke.......james knows that shes a bloke rite??..LOLZ
  16. springy...thats my area. sheesh. glad to hear u got the guys. should have taken a pic of the guys face when the cop flashed himself....kodak moment:D
  17. im after an r33 s2 drivers side power window motor....preff in melb. thats all:D:D
  18. because the battery is at the back for the 33 u have to strengthen the ground so u run an extra 2 thick wires from the battery to the chassie. then u go thru the process of grounding components in ur engine bay that would be helped with a better ground like say the alternator, turbo, exhaust, engine block, pretty much electrical and electronic stuff. so all the DIY kit involves is a number of amp wires (coloured if u want the rice) with o-ring ends running throughout the whole engine bay and bolted to the chassie at certain points. i came across this really cool jap site where the guy has detailed number of DIY's for his white r33 gtr and in it was an earthing section. dont know where the links gone but if u do a search in yahoo jap for earthing r33 and use babelfish its quite easy to follow.
  19. oh i get it...the plenum. hmmm...dunno..hehe i was also told to check the condition of the stickers with numbers that run along the wires closest to the engine. if theyre really shriveled then its an indication of a hard life. but then again were talkin about a 10+ yr old car here so who knows exactly.
  20. wat are we lookin at exactly?? wat thing??
  21. i did a DIY grounding kit for my car and i can say personally it did make a diff in driving...just a tad more responsive.
  22. second vote for the white and blue decals again:D i forot to vote last time..hehe. doin it now
  23. have u tried taking the sway bar off?
  24. my stock turbo spools at around 2500-3000rpm and boost onwards. when spool u mean turbo starting to wind up? its just a stock 1.5 r33 with 3"dual apex exhaust.
  25. theres a kit from japan by "strawberry" or some name like that for a complete r34 front on a 33. it looks alright to me....for a show car that is. then again those s14 and 180's with the s15 fronts look horn!! i think the kits cost about 6k from memory.
