all depends on whether u want performance or looks?? sounds like ur goin for looks...so id say go get the side skirts+rear pods and save up for some rims. no use gettin a front bar cause it'll look funny havin the whole kit with the stock rims still on.
waste of money powdercoating stockies.
thats just my opinion
acid dippin seems the obvious answer....could always try an anodising place too
i would like to know how ud make a silver cooler black without overcoating the fins and reducing coolin efficiency??
i smacked into the curb in the wet about 3-4 weeks back too. poped my left tyre so ended up gettin some cheap rims to replace the stockies. got a wheel alighnment to straighten the steering wheel but now it drives worse then before the allignment having a mind of its own when i decide to boost and change lanes. visual inspection shows nothing bent but i aint no expert......can anyone recomend a good suspension place in melb??
wats happenin with the peeps sittin on the side of the bridge?? are they buskers??
oh and those pics of the girls dressed up as anime characters.....reminds me to bring my teletubby costume when i go over:D:D
gotta love that monk statue!!
ive heard of parks where people gather just to hang out and dance/break...does anyone have pics of those....oh and some sunday markets too:D:D
i think they go for about $250 F-Off-Buckaroos at a wreckers. thats just too much for rice in my oppinion...hehe. its only 20bucks or so here per sack at the local groceries:D:D
well the car was driving fine with the old rims on other than the steering wheel being off centred to the left about 5degree's or so. that being said the next thing to do is get a suspension safety check on it just to be sure.
cheers for the help guys.
turned out to be someone not finishing the job on the wheel alignment. everythings all straight and propper now....feels like normal again:D:D
had a check again this morning and it only seems to be the left wheel rubbing up on full lock....the right wheel comes very close but doesnt rub. and from the looks of it the left wheel is toed in heaps more than the right. and no i didnt get a written readout either...hmmm...dodgy.
would this explain why when turning the steering wheel snaps.??
will be goin back today.
went around the block again and noticed rubbing noise on full lock....climbed under with a torch and found out that the tyres are rubbing up against the castor rods on full lock...that aint good. help anybody??
hey guys.....i just put on the 2 front second hand jap rims i got..dimensions are 16" x7.5 +32. considering ive just replaced my stocks with these ive noticed that at low speeds the car will force itself to turn in after only turning the steering wheel half a turn. i then find myself having to fight and counter steer to avoid oversteering into the curb on exit. can anyone tell me whats the cause of this and how to fix it as its bloody dangerous.
also when the wheels were fitted i also got a wheel alignment as my steering wheel isnt dead straight cause i hit a curb a week or so ago. they are supposed to straighten this out too when the do a wheel alignment right??
cheers.
my brakes are slightly touching the disc too....i thought this was normal?? though i can still turn the disc with my hands no probs just makes an ever so slight scraping noise...i assume its just the rust buildup being scrapped off
somebody call my name??
well i kinda have an idea for a logo, just that i need all the exact model layout pics of all the stovetops from the 31 to 34. so u know if anyone has those pics..send em my way:D:D
