  1. i used to wash it twice a week when i first got it. not being able to wash at home and me getting older and lazier doesnt help.ha I might have to give Basti's game play a crack.
  2. mmm...spitties are always good + alachamahol slurpee's.
  3. the angles are similar to each other on both stock items? would mean the throws the same then? reason one gets a C or nismo is to shorten the throw over the stocker as you probably already know so its a different set of goals/setup to what your describing. I'd assume if it fits snug and bolts up all fine then I cant really see it doing any damage, then again im no specialist. Good find though, you might be on to something maybe.
  4. james thats one kick ass pressie. the amount of things you can POV..lol.....mmmm. I never recieve anything myself, but got my lil sis a wii. that thing is quite addictive.
  5. so you wash then let it dry then put that stuff on? or in weekly intervals? I dont wash my car in months...its quite neglected. then again i dont drive it much.
  6. aftermarket FMIC are usualy silver arent they? Ive heard of people taking their IC to a radiator place to get it sprayed with the same stuff they spray on radiators.
  7. didnt notice the wear when you took your wheel off? did they take the tyre off then tell you? Can always think of it as them doing you a favour and making you get new tyres and adusting alighnment so you wont get the same wear in the furtre so you wont be done for a cheap defect. Chances would have been if you got it repaired you wouldnt have got new tyres for a while and run the risk of getting done by the cops.
  8. bring the orininal one along to a specialty nut and bolt place to see if they have a bolt of similar diamitre/thread and length required of the same material. Should only cost you a couple bucks. Maybe saw the original thread off and weld the top of it to the new bolt so you can still and tighten it? You may even want to saw the head off the new bolt too for a flush weld. This is the first thing that pops in my head.
  9. i will only adimire another line from a distance. i wont look your car up and down if i pull up next to you at the lights simply because i dont want to give the driver a big head unless the car is absolutely unique or the new gtr..ha. I dont make an effort to wave unless I've met them at a meet but I would definitly wave back if someone did. In my 8 yrs of owning my car no ones waved at me so meh I dont look for it or expect it. Seeing an SAU sticker breaks the ice usualy. I dont think im a tosser, then again a tosser wouldn't think they were one I appreciate any car for its merits be it ford, holden, volvo....maybe im just a minority
  10. do a search. this pops up at least 4 times a month i recon. could be your motor, could be you relay/switch. you might be able to just fix it by cleaning the contacts, then again you might have to buy another motor. a new one is too much, get a wrecked one for a decent price. a search should answer most of your questions.
  11. didnt look but id hate to be the family of those involved seeing this stuff again and again.
  12. my bro bought a petrol one from the hobby man in dandy. they do sell good gear there.
  13. thats a good gameplan. most of the school kids and crazy mums would have gone home by then.
  14. thats arsey timing indeed. you should ring up and see if you can get an extension because everyones on holidays. Best get your car in order so they dont dick you again next time.
  15. i was gonna go last minute and get myself one of those cheap mini choppers...not worth the petrol is it guys??
  16. ouch. howd you manage to lite up all 4? moving on is a million times better than sitting in the dark in your undies feeling sorry for yourself.
  17. sounds like you got a good action plan going on already. my bet is when you change to another motor it will all work again.
  18. dont forget to come back now ya hear.......with some pics of your torana. so old school..i like. ha
  19. have you tested your motor to make certain its the switch and not the motor itself thats dead?
  20. im sure you can find a local buyer here. You should have replied with gibberish in your first reply to see what his reply would be to find out if its a script bot. I used to do that back in the ICQ days when I was sus. my spider senses were right most of the time....ah ICQ...memories.
  21. lets just hope it was just for a joy ride to get from one place to another.
  22. sorry...still aint no fun without vids and some coconuts. maybe a pumkin even.
  23. how'd you dig up this old thread...lol. im still interested in your review on the billies. are you going from stock or jap coilovers? you got billies right? or is it BC?
  24. my cushion clutch hisses only durring riding of the clutch but goes a way once engaged. there may still be a hissing but my solid short shifter transfers noise incabin thats louder. I do know that with a lightened flywheel combo the gearbox makes a "gara, gara" rattling sound on low revs in first.
