  1. mum must have been proud of yah..lol In another dimension i might have done the same, probably draw the line at dropping a turd though, cant perform in public.
  2. since your eng is mid you could probably get away with it if its red so it looks like a brake light.
  3. i guess you'r not heeding my adivce to go to a proper suspension place hey? Traction tyres rowville is where i take my car to or you can try Centreline if your on the other side of town. The guys at Traction tyres are a class act and will tell you what needs to be done to fix things and nothing more. $66-$77 for front and back from memory. Should be cheaper for just a front end alignment. g/luck with it.
  4. yeah at least you caught them in the act. my car has carpark battle wounds all over from careless f#ckers, heck i even came back to find a shopping trolley in my door. i have tollerance for when kids do it cause theyre just kids but when an adult does it i just wanna throw i tennis ball in the back of their head.
  5. had a laugh at your title..lol. i was driving in the wet once, lost it on a corner over corrected and hit a gutter head on. at least when i hit it i made sure the wheels were pointing straight before humping it. blew a tyre and buggered alignment. only cost me a new pair of tyres and two wheel alignments cause the first place couldnt do the job properly. take it to a reputable tyre place and get them to check and do a wheel alignment. quite simple really. if somethings broke or bent they will tell you and you will find out how much to fix. they should not fix it without asking you firs tso you wont be surprised with a larger than average bill. I stress take it to a reputable suspension place. if you are in melb i can reccomend you one or two.
  6. parkers. have a real good look around the housings, im definit you dont have to take your headlights out to replace a bulb, goes completley against japanese effficency, convenience and design. having small hands helps but taking some parts like washer bottle and airbox out will be more effective.
  7. +1 for pen cause its small and looks nice. i set mine to 30secs.....im even considering putting down to 15-20 cause i dont think its really doing much for daily commuting...lol
  8. what yr models does it go up to. I got myself the fast a couple yrs back so dunno if it'll be the same? or model updates?
  9. those eyes.................. reminds me of garfield.
  10. wow this has really ruffed you up the wrong way hey. supply and demand, social and economical status...not everyone can afford the real thing and make do with fakes and people see an oportunity to exploit it and produce fakes. its unfortunate but it happens and its usually the poor that get the bad end of the stick. no real ground breaking news here.
  11. eek...this should be fun. how is the track gonna be set up? diff groups diff sections? learning how to link corners? semi-high speed corners? how close are the barriers again?...lol
  12. wish you were my mate or neighbour...lol is your garage cieling high enough or are you after something to get it high enough for you to roll under say a metre or so. Do they even sell midget hoist?
  13. edited ....had a double read and now i know what your on about...lol does your drivers side switch that controls the passengers lock work? can you hear it clicking attempting to unlock? considered taking your drivers trim off to see where the rods are then have a crack at it with a car jacking tool ha or coat hanger on the passengers.
  14. we can all speculate as to how much and how long it would take. just pick up the phone and ring someone like RE to hear it from someone who can actually help you. best get on it quick if you wanna be ready for next thurs.
  15. may sounds stupid but does the belt itself have the huge nismo logo on it at all to indicate that its the same belt as on the reciept. I did a quick google for a 34 nismo timing belt and its pretty darn obvious if it is actually one. 19k? on the clock? if its so that is rediculously low for a pre owned import in my opinion. got reciepts of the workshop that did work on it previously? Id give them a call and check their database for what work was done on the car. If its a properly organised workshop they should have it in their database. If its a fresh import get the timing belt changed again anyways and a thorough walkthrough of the car for piece of mind.
  16. He is saying the general of the army asked for his uncles lexus to be stolen and thats that. you yourself can assume a general ordered the hit on this gtr but I dont think its appropriate to link it to howies comment imho. Corruption is ramapnt in asia, its who you know and how much money you have. Having a good connection in the military is pretty elite, my friends uncle is some sort of general in laos and when hes over for holidays he can pretty much do whatever really, he's smart enough not to abuse it though.
  17. Chuck doesnt have a chin under his beard but a third fist!
  18. Chuck turned gay cause he ran out of women to sleep with.....or something along those lines..ha or maybe not even close
  19. trust no one and set up your own hidden cctv.
  20. You'd be surprised how easy it is to get into your glove box, i wont post up why though but have a closer look at the locking mechanism and you will soon know why.
  21. no ones above the law...except for steven segal. It was only a matter of time i say.
  22. lol...he found it already.
  23. wouldnt them punching your plates up show that its a gtr? maybe i watch too much cops..lol
  24. I use the club lock as a visual deterant for the average jacker. i see floors in my viper alarm that makes me not trust it hence the club lock just to up the thiefs risk assesment hoping they move onto another easier car. at the end of the day if they're willing to saw my steerign wheel and club lock theres nothing much more i could do other than kill switches. then again he'd probably be onto his mate to get the flatbed around. bloody criminals!! as for a club lock suggesting you dont have an alarm, most alarm nowdays have flashing leds. a quick kick of the tyre will tell if you have an alarm or not too. I say having a club lock there is better than not having one if you have no alarm at all. all this club lock talk takes me back to big kevs pic at sandown of the guy with the club lock in his head after a stack...ouch. for the new skyline owners out there, invest in a decent security setup first instead of mods. i take it the car wasnt insured maybe as the first thing they would have asked for is to get aus approved immobiliser??
