+1 your saving money on doing cheap because they usually cut some corners to make it cheap. if your not to fussd about detail and you can live with it then that combination is all good. theres been a couple posts on repairers in the VIC section, have a search/look -
unfortunately most people learn the hard way when they loose their license. Look at it this way youve learnt something by failing, so now you know you should be doing head checks which is what you should be doing in the first place. Ive seen so many incidents infront of me when people dont do head checks when merging and almost hit or run others off the road. You can just see it coming just by the way they drive sometimes. Try another testing place if you think your getting hard done but it shouldnt matter if you do everything right. good luck with your next one.

you got your fuel tested? howd you go about doing that? Is it just that particular BP station? +1 for Ash's idea. you might get a months worth of free fuel, or a bp citybank credit card..lol does anyone have one of these? I always see them trying to sign people up

Dodgy Work On My Gtr And Now The Engine Is Toast.
(B1) MR_fanny replied to doutsis's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
thats a horror story if I ever heard of one. I would definitly persue it to the ends of the earth if it were me. Get another reputable workshop like MR DIRTgarage or someone local to go through it and write up a detailed report of the mess possibly sighting their professional opinion as to why everything went pair shaped. Is it even the same motor thats in the car? If they were dodge enough to give you a gutted cat and replace your boot thinking you were non the wiser to notice i wouldnt be surprised. document everything, you have their reciept of all the work and parts supposedlty done to your car so thats a start. and finaly, can you pm me the workshop that did this to you out of personal interest. good luck with it all. -
no idea ha. could have been mojo's or that other one down the city end of bay st. talk about useless info. go to P1 then go to mens gallery and spearmint to pick your spirits back up before you say hi to your missus again in tazzie. what happens in melb stays in melb..lol

LOL +1 take it from a local, if your ever up for a challenge go for a drive at the market/centre on the weekend and try to find parking. whenever I drive I just expect the rediculous and I always come out unscathed....just.

aloud as in allowed? I got stumped on that for a bit. Indicating left when turnign right at a roundabout, I dont think I ever learnt that one or maybe Ive forgotten it. Sounds very illogical though, you indicate left to turn right and the guy thats giving way to you anticipates you turning left and comes out and banm! Can someone explain the logic in this one for me? As for using mirrors, from experience you should always do head checks so get in the habit of it, trust me. Never rely on the mirror 100% its very decieving. Sounds like it has gotten a tad harder since I did it yrs ago but as with all tests if you do what your supposed to you should pass. I had a driving test with 2 criticals from memory then a computer test. Don't let it get to you too much, ive had friends who took 4 tries for their P's. Even though its a pain and burning your pocket you learn from it. so remember to indicate left when turning right at the roundabout even though I have no idea why and do your head checks..ha

Blitz Dual Sbc Spec S And Spec R
(B1) MR_fanny replied to L.B.'s topic in Engines & Forced Induction
put it this way its like having one quality control guy vs 2 quality control guys on the pie production line. with 2 guys you highly reduce your chances of someone getting a mouth full of broken glass and rusty nails when they take a bite of their pie. 2 solenoids reduces boost spikes and holds higher boost alot better than one. hope that makes sense, thats my understanding of it anyways -
you can also stop off at bay st on your way back and grab a gourmet pizza to eat on the way home. I cant remember the name but they have this great tandori chicken with yoghurt thingy pizza. its the bomb. Im sure someone knows what im talking about.

where does the permit allow you to drive? to and from the boat? are you a gambler? artsy person? sight seeing person? food person? metro shopping person?
-
i guess only you really know hey as you drive it all the time. hasnt gotten any louder has it? maybe check how its been mounted.
-
what do you mean by accessories? if its the ignition then the clicking noise may be your aircon, quite a normal annoyance with 33's. the clog is worn in the gears. its normal for revs to pick up cause the power steering pump is at work. no idea whats happening when you brake. cant really help you unless your more to the point with your problems.

Bilstein Suspension Kit
(B1) MR_fanny replied to tridentt150v's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
yeah i know what you mean. like with my HA's theyre great on smooth roads but how often do we get to see them. I dont mind the stiffness but there are times when I drive around all day and the back starts getting sore. Your reason for swapping is probably the same as mine. -

teins have pillow ball tops dont they? so i dont think they will fit. i may be completely wrong if you could write a short review comparing the two setups that would be great as i have teins at the moment and was considering some billies too. -
Barter System In Each State
(B1) MR_fanny replied to GTR-N1's topic in General Automotive Discussion
HA. loading the dollar would be a problem....i guess thats why terry suggests the $SAU will be based on hour/time spent on the work in stead of how much the service was worth. am i correct terry? Theres always gonna be some tool who will abuse the system. Unless its some secretive stone cutters guild thing where we all meet up secretly and plan the domination of the world and you can only get in from someone who knows someone and they have to go through an initiatioin like homer did.
