to properly fix that i think you have to take the bumper off or just unbolt that side and fiddle with it. its ripped of the plastic that the screws go through on the bar and is probably still there bolted into the fender/chassis. i bent mine when i hit the gutter hard but i didnt rip it off like yours

do you know what diff you have? might be an aftermarket diff maybe. its like who sunk my battle ship..lol

and a full tank will leave less? are you looking for an exact number of litres to put in your tank? there probably is an answer but i dont think anyones anal enough to figure it out. i dont see anything wrong with ash's suggestion. fill it up abit whenever you drive it.

i may have read wrong but you havent even described what kind of noise and where you think its coming from. abit more precise and im sure you'll get a helpfull answer. i have a lightened flywheel and it makes a "gara gara" low rattle noise at low revs. do yo have a solid short shifter? is it grinding or clunking noise? coming from the front, gbox, or back? could be any thing or something silly as something in your glove box...lol

long grain is pretty darn good, thai fusion food. its not your budget stall but its very good for a night out to impress the missus. im a springy local and i took my laos/thai mate to a laos/thai place called pog pog. he said its was pretty damn good and authentic. theres also this little purple viet one opposite the trainstation next to the pannel beaters/mechs that is pretty good. Just watch out for the old guy as things magically appear on your bill...ha we still go back there though.

your a student, worried about cash but you want to know how to get high 12 passes...lol if your budgeting id suggest that you not get it unless you can budget for when things start to go wrong as well as petrol prices. the problem with skyline and their owners is when something needs replacing we usually want to replace it with something better which means more money. its a double edge sword picking a stocker or modified one. modified one will save you on mod costs but may cost you in tunes, petrol and overal reliability cause chances are it may have been thrashed, but that all just depends on how the owner looked after it. as for a stocker, youd catch the mod bug which will cost you money aswell. usually you get what you pay for, but once in a while you may find a genuine gem for 10k, say someone going back overseas. its a matter of giving the car a complete look over to minimse your risk. do you have money for the 100k service that will sure to come up if its close to it? ive had my car for 8+yrs and its one of the most reliable cars that i have owned aswell as the most i have poured money into.

ive just developed this click/clunk noise everytime i turn the wheel 1/4 either way and can sligtly feel it just like steering column lock but ever so slight. Dahtone, if you could post up your do's and donts that would be tops.

maybe start the car with another battery from a mate and see if it fixes it before going back to the workshop.

it might just be a connection if it works when you bang it. take the console apart and inspect the connections at the rear of the dash. your gonna have to remove a fair bit of stuff but its all straight forward bolts and clips. its a good reason to get intimate with your car and know how its put together..haha. might wanna change your dash lights to cool led ones while your at it.

take the same bolt on the opposite side out from those spots and match them at a bolt shop expecially the seatbelt one. high tensile one is a must.

it would be like me putting a ferrari badge on my car cause it has round tail lights and ive always wanted a ferrari. its like beamers with the fake M badge. im a purist lol. my only exception is if the cars got an rb26dett under the bonnet. the car could be making 1000hp but if its not from an rb26 it shouldnt have a GTR badge. like someone pointed out the gtr is more than just how fast your car is.

even though you think you might look quite anal, you should just ask the workshop for their opinion on what they think it is. im sure they'd give you some free advice or even fix it since you spent some coin with them. but im sure someone will help you out here.

man i paid 20k 8 yrs ago for my 95model. the prices i see them go for now is rediculous. id like to see what silvias and 180's are going for now days. just as long as the mechanincs is still good and it all depends on how much your willing to pay. get it checked out.

i know the put dots on the tyres and such for balancing and alignment. care to post up a pic. ive never come across a blue dot on the rims before

+1...check or replace your 02 sensor. its only 70bucks or so for a ford one i think thats a perfect match.
