  1. that is pretty bad. i would get 450ks when it was stock. now i get 400kish with light mods. what mods does the car have? might need a tune depending on what you got.
  2. it sounds electrical. try bypassing the harness or reinstall the harness. someone in the maitenance section had the car running rough and found out that it was a bare wire making contact with the chassis.
  3. so its set in the not to distant future where petrol prices are so high they need to jack it to keep on racing? i think ill just watch it for that Jordina chick.
  4. ever considered taking it to a reputable workshop? might save you some coin when you do the 100k service. down on power would mean they gave it some stick on the street hey? i wouldnt be happy with that unless it was agreed beforehand.
  5. grinding noise that goes away when you press the clutch on idle? probably your throw out/thrust bearing which is quite common. you usually replace it when you need a new clutch. if the noise goes away after warm up then it might be soemthing else.
  6. its worn syncro's usually which is normal wear and tear. you can add a gearbox additive which might help. I just got a short shifter...lol 1st to 2nd knotch has gone away.
  7. if thats batmobiles front pipes i second the quality and build on them as i have one too.
  8. i know with the 33 n/a's theres a factory valve that opens up but you would have noticed it when swapping it over. beats me...lol doesnt make any sense swapping tips.
  9. no hill for the loss. half the fun is staring down the hill trying to remember if you incorporated a braking system in your design.
  10. if you actually read the fine prints it tells you how to contest it. keep us updated with how you do.
  11. lol...make sure it doesnt fly off and crack some heads if you stack. just make one out of paper, its alot lighter. remember to post the vid up.
  12. lol...glad its all sorted. reminds me when i was driving around for 4 yrs with only my back speakers working cause i couldnt figure out how to adjust the front on the stock headunit untill i randomly figured it out..lol....stereo finally.
  13. i thought so too. it was seperate to the front pipe so they could make more money on you buying the two instead of one combined unit..lol
  14. a pretty penny for a proper one as it has to be tested and engineered to pass structural integrity and EPA. i dont think its as simple as someone sighting it and just filling in forms. im gonna pull a figure of 1k+ out of a hat lol
  15. same era? you should probably look into that abit more. farimont....lol i had an XF as my first car, on gas, floaty steering.
  16. stocker meaning factory keyless entry. sounds like you have a module for the alarm. could be as simple as reseting it and set it to your liking. you will need the alarm manual for that
  17. hard to say really without hearing it. crackle like a bag of chips or a crackle like stepping on twigs sneaking up on someone?
  18. +1 for rags to get a propper clean. my mate clean my engine with a spray at his work...i honestly couldnt see the diff..lol
  19. go for the dual one that rejoins further down. either just the dump or a dump/frontpipe combo. that shiny one there is a screamer if im not mistaken and is also illegal. separated pipes has something to do with increasing airflow effficency and reducing turbulance i think.
  20. is it the stocker keyless entry or an alarm?
  21. its an arc pannel, air comes in from the top just like your normal box. you might wanna modify the original snorkel for better cool air induction. they are a tight fit with standard IC pipes, well mine is. very nice induction noise compared to pods.
  22. just cover the important or even all the electrical bits with plastic bags like afm, igniter module, fuse box, etc. degrease where needed only and go happy with the pressure hose.
  23. the guy saw a wallet and took it. the wallet could have been in a shitter and he still would have taken it. i feel for ya and all but you did leave your wallet in the car. i dont get what the sunshine complex has to do with your break in in your driveway? unfortunately desperate people do desperate things so dont leave things to tempt them. ive had people go through the parents car and stuff in our driveway. its a pain in the ass to make all these precautions especially cause its your own driveway but it is the world we live in. hope you get your car back on the road soon.
  24. do your hazards work? if so maybe its the stalk itself? bad contact or just dead all together. what did your friend do?..lol
  25. original usually means from nissan. my original key had remote entry with it but if you take it appart its just a normal key. the plastic bit broke so now i just rock it with a bare key. if it really bugs you that much get one of someone who's wrecking and replace the key with your cut one. obviously you would have to make sure the key would fit the plastic housing.
