short shifter is supposed to shorten the throw distance between gears by changing the pivot point i think so you could have the height of the shifter the same as the stock as was my case but the throw is substantially shorter. i guess i was lucky when i got my C's copy. the copy shifters also transfer more noise to the cabin cause theyre solid and not insulated.
i got an infringement once then got a letter a month or so later telling me to disregard the previous fine cause it was either filled out or processed incorrectly. however they were nice enought to issue me with the correct infringement notice so yeah they can do whatever they like.
you can challenge it but i wouldnt be surprised if they send you another infringement notice with the correct number plate. My one was issued in person by an officer so they may have a legal leg to stand on since they were there to issue it.
to my understanding you can have one intake mod either the pod or IC and seeing as though yours was enclosed id be asking questions at vic roads to confirm the legality of it.
actually judging by your pics you have an IC so technically your not allowed to have a pod hence the reason for the defect maybe??
get your gf or someone with small hands to go at it. im surprised you didnt try losening the washer tank to get at it either. no need to touch anything else.
you should pm bass junky about the diff. he made em for a group buy for 33 gtst, gtrs, 34gtts. i got myself one off him for s1. the only thing i can see diff from s1 and s2 is how it sit on the different factory grills.
from my knowledge it wont fit hence why theres a model for the gtst and gtr. different placement of bonet latch maybe or even adaptation to fit snug with gtr grill and lights.
so you've bought it already. why dont you just test fit and see where it doesnt match. anything can be modified to fit. you will get less for it when selling it off cause its been choped.
saw my fair share tonight on princess on the way home as well as the usual unmarked one on the middle median strip catching speeders just before the clayton rd intersection where macas and the footy field is. theyre always there.
well i had set up an ic water spray and it would leak at the nozzle due to gravity so i used a one way valve. the valve lets water through when theres pressuer by the pump and closes it off when theres no pressure so i dont see why you guys think it wont work with the windscreen nozzles as its the same application? i picked up a valve from a holden wrecker that was specifically used for windscreen nozzles so i thought it was commonly used.
just a suggestion if you run out of ideas but yeah check your lines. is it leaking both or just the one?
i wouldnt be surprised if the maxima fits. dosent have to be the same spoiler but same mounts, it would make sense to interchage parts to be cost effective. SKYLINE you should ask the guy if he is actually supplying you a maxima one..lol
el cheapo is el goodo. mine died so i opened it up and whacked the internals of a toyota one inside and it worked. unfortunately i did mutilate the housing just a tad but its out of sight. a brand new cheap replacement would be nice.
yeah just drive your shitter for the remaining months. give the keys to your parents so your not tempted. oh and take out fuses and stuff so theyre not tempted..ha
is it drive train related or engine related like an R&R shudder? at 3k and under good load i presume? does it do it when you dont boot it?
my wild guesses are afm or clutch? sounds too violent to be sparks either but id check that too.
