  1. cutting a hole may increase the chances of the wheel catching onto it and ripping it off all together. get an alighnment and professional advice. id say raise the car abit or get some camber kits to straighten things up. your gonna kill your tyres quicker too. what width fronts are you running? my frond ride height is 350 with 8" and i just make it. i scrape on my passenger side because of the bigger 34smic that pushes the plastic out abit.
  2. SK's bilstein group buy or tein australian spec super street if you wanna stick with teins. actually im not too sure if he does 32 gtr setups.
  3. ha...that guy ripps mad jam doughnuts!!
  4. i believe swapping springs wont to much for you...maybe damage the shocks more because they are valved to a particular spring rate. i think the money spent on new springs and fitment, you could buy sk's setup or something else thats built for the streets and recoupe some of the costs in selling the teins.
  5. i remember how you kept on missing out on all the 1k pfc's...and now your letting it go without even using it. good luck with the sale.
  6. dont expect a "big" difference. you can notice a slight ease but it will still be hard as a rock. i have HA's take your seat or parcel shelf of to get to the rears.
  7. main concern would be the wind causing chafing on the paint. ive had it happen to me. if your gonna drive it weekly there shouldnt be a real problem leaving it under the cover for a couple days. something about letting the paint breathe i think, the warning is there moreso as a liability issue on their part.
  8. i was gonna get the adrenalins but got a really good deal on the advans otherwise i would have tried the potenza's
  9. is it a stocker? only when filling up? does it make that sound when you prime it everytime or just filling up which is quite strange. if it wasnt doing it before then first assumption is its on its last legs. hopefully someone with more experience can shed some light
  10. you can get a stud remover tool...or you can call the stud remover guy. someone mentioned him a while ago
  11. im surprised they didnt put "skyline" in bold font. no sympathy for this guy
  12. down the track i'd be definitly considering a higher class euro car with some balls and hopefully be in the position to keep the liner as the fun weekender. i just want to drive a pimped out audi merc beamer or bentleigh's like all those rappper's do before lights out.
  13. i got myself a set of advans V103. havent streched their legs out yet but they feel great. might be out of your budget though. theres a thread here somewhere about peoples opinions on tyres they have used, i think its stickyed top of the page.
  14. i put put abit of oil in and swish it around before installing. works for me. whether it does anything i dunno..ha
  15. ouch thats gotta hurt
  16. the glove box... theres no real "hiding" unless you wack it into a din and then make a cover for it. in the glovebox defeats the purpose of keeping an eye on readings and such.
  17. owned haaarrdd!! i think he will eventually crack and go postal on someone.
  18. i did this a while ago but my memory is abit blurry. you can take the motor out without having to dissasemble the running arms. there is 3 gold screws from memory inside the door that holds the motor. there should be a hole to access them. there is one particular bolt that requires a mirror to get to. the hardest part is getting to those bolts then its pretty much a swap and bolt up. be carefull not to round off the screws like i did with one of them. should be a 30min job if all goes right. if you post up a pick of the door i can show you what area the motor is located.
  19. check under your fuel tank to see if you have a hole. its probably the sender settling itself. should have taken notice how much litres you pumped in first to know if it was actually half a tanks worth.
  20. my ciggy doesnt work but all the stuff i splice it off does. i think the element unit is dead. does a a generic one slide straight in?
  21. yeah you wouldnt want any of the sau mob at the reception, their cars will do congrats mate!!
  22. installation was just for the pfc and nothing more ash. reason why i couldnt rap my head around paying $200ish for a 30'sec job. Jack seems to be the man to go to reminds me i should put his number in my mb just in case..ha
  23. no difference...its a quarter turn of that plug with the tip of your fingers. if you cant reach then take out the washer bottle and air box to give you more room.
  24. ill informed once again..ha thanks ash i thought i could save money on installation costs for a pfc tune. i was quoted $500-$600 for an install and tune. i had been told tuning is $150 per hr and it would take on average 2 hrs to tune so if i could save $200-$300 just for installation all the better. sorry for the hi-jack if any. flat tow is the cheapest option, just be carefull with the tow rope and your front bar...or you could just take the front bar off? is that still legal?
