  1. unclip the clip and remove the bulb socket...you dont need to pull any wires out.
  2. sorry to hear bud. hits closer to home when you know them. been a really bad lead up to christmas this year. whats up with the crazy gunman shooting church goers in america?....when will they learn gun control?
  3. just the standard wedge bulbs same as the parkers, 5 from memory. why pay a mech to do it when you can do it yourself? its piss easy.
  4. its only the operators that you have to look out for. one young bloke buggered my rims and alignment right up. you would think that if one wheel is straight but the other is stupidly toed in it would ring some bells. obviously the kid didnt have a clue what he was doing. in this case i got what i paid for really.
  5. ha...mmmm....pankcakes are you mechanically or electrically minded? sit at 4k in third or fourth gear then give it a boot then you will know if it is slipping or not. tried playing with the ttimer yet? if its still working then i guess you havent killed it...yet. apply for another credit card...that'll solve all your problems =P
  6. from what i know stocker solenoid goes 5psi low and 7psi high. if you do exhaust and intake mods it will go up to 9psi-ish high by itself. maybe check all the hoses to the solenoid and actuator.

    Flooded

i took the povo opportunity to quickly wash my car in the rain..ha. anybody see the news with the toyota dealer in ferntree gully gettin flooded. now thats alotta brown water!
  8. check to see if it has a series 2 engine to reafirm if it truly is a series 1.5. also check to see if the interior is a series 2 if its a 96 model. the owner has done something whack with the headlights. that car is abit too much for me. i wouldnt hold my breath with this one.
  9. i would have to disagree with this to an extent. obviously if you drive like an idiot you will get pulled over but ive owned my car for almost 7 yrs have been pulled over 3 times and in all those times i was driving normally and they all had to make a huge effort to just get up behind me to pull me over. the second time i got pulled over was when i was reversing out of my drive way, reversing out spot the cop stop to give way as you do, cop doesnt move for a good minute so i figured hes doing something or letting me reverse out. i reverse out, didnt even make it 100m before he pulled me over. if that isn't import targeting i dont know what is. i live S.E too...ha
  10. i know how you feel mate. im almost hitting 30, got better things to do than to hoon the streets at night and most of the time have more important things to spend my money on than mods but unfortunately theres those particular officers out there that are on a power trip, know EFF'all about imports and do you because they can...probably meeting a daily quota. luckily i have yet to come across one of these. all the officers i have met were all decent.
  11. maybe loosing the hand that they commited the crime with would remind them. abit medievil but meh, worth a thought. true dat on all that "i wanna be fiddy, i wanna be hood" shit. what happened to the good old car park blue to sort things out.
  12. that looks real nice...are these the same guys that do the batmbl dumps cause the logo looks familar. quality product if they are the same.
  13. i drive normal tom cruisy untill the next performance mod then i tend to give it a work out to prove itself when i can for a week or so then back to tom cruisy untill the next mod.
  14. id be interested if its black.
  15. its like a baby gtr bar. ive never seen one before. looks aight though. sometimes i think it cools better without the guard. exposure to the elements and rocks is whats stopping me. ill just wait till the tyre rips it off..ha
  16. ouch...ha. when im on full lock i swear i hear my wheel rubbing the guard.
  17. my blitz one is all black and i mounted it where the stock solenoid was. the TMU officer had a good look at it last week with this flash light and said nothing of it. maybe frabricate a black box to cover. i dont think its a good idea to run the hoses through the fire wall, expecially through the gromet as it'll restrict the hoses.
  18. its a good cheap upgrade. If you can get it under $200 its bargain. try and get the plastic shroud that comes with it if you can. you may find that the inner wheel lining wont bold up properly underneith because of the bigger size but its no big deal.
  19. he should be running a sealed battery if im not mistaken. just get a new bat if you can afford it.
  20. from my experience the heavy fabric ones arent the best as they do tend to scratch the car especially on windy days. . if its got the cloth inside is should be fine. it has to be able to breathe too whether it be air vent pockets around the car cover. ive got myself a nice soft one that i used to use which i really liked, obviously not 100% water proof but was nice and easy to roll up..ha
  21. ive got an exedy cushion button + flywheel. its not as bad as it sounds mainly because its cushioned so you can slip it abit. pedal pressure is pretty heavy when first installed but after a while its almost feels the same as stock. maybe the left leg is conditioned to it now. engagement is great, may clunk a little at first in stop start conditions when your not used to how it engages. overall im happy with my buy. does what it does well.
  22. i hit R&R the other day for the first time when i installed an tuned my ebc. freaks you out abit hey...ha i run mine on 11psi which i find safe.
  23. those are darn perrtyy! gonna go and count my pennies in my ashtray
  24. thanks spunky munky, will keep that in mind if needed. yeah your right, i have always been putting it off fixing those things so now i have to do it which isnt too bad. i found out today that i might be getting advan v103's all round for a bargain price because the good guys at the tyre place busted the sales reps balls as to why there is no supply of the other tyres i chose in australia at all and the odd mismatch of yoko's available that i finally chose was a concern to them in regards to handling. top blokes hey! thats a pretty nifty fact ruffels, unfortunately my second pipe is right under the diff..ha. 1 metre doesnt give much to play with =)
  25. payment sent. can you confirm cheers.
