i think all the violent games, movies and progams that are socially accepted today has something to blame. i mean i love to play gory shot&chop em up games once in a while, watch a scary graphical movie once in a while but everythings been kinda overloaded over the years people have become de-sensatised even on normal tv like CSI and the like and that freakin live anatomy on SBS...wtf?? talk about teaching some phsyco how to carve someone up. my lil sis whos only in primary school sometimes surfs the channel to find someone decapatated or their chest ripped open on those crime investigation series. when i was in highschool(class of 96) i dont remember anything as graphical as these programs on tv...you had to actually make an efffort to find it....anyone remember faces of death? those were farked up. the worlds a stranger place now then it was back then....

im sure a good imobiliser will kill everything. my mates car turns its lights off when alarm is armed.

i got quoted 1 hrs labour $75 to install castor bushes a while ago for whitelines. its always good to shop around.

i payed about 600ish for all genuine parts so 360 on top of that is pretty good imo.

as for how long it takes for court summons mine took about 4 months. i got my license back durring that period too so i was driving when i went to court.

actually ive just replaced my belts too and have noticed this sound a week ago. sounds like its comming from the timing belt too.

i dont know about a chirping sound but i got a grinding sound when my thrust bearing was worn. $800 is over the top just to replace a thrust bearing you can get a new HD clutch + labour for that price and that includes replacing the thrust bearing too. i got a new clutch and bearings replaced about a month ago along with a nismo pivot ball, got rid of the grinding noise but a week or so ago i think its come back again. annoying considering i got everything replaced. interesting thought about re-greasing your pivot ball joint. would like to know if that works.

that long?? thats bad form....nothings been done at all man. taking all that stuff off would only take a day and they havent even started any pannel work. id chase that up big time to get it done elsewhere.

problem is when i plug the card in the reader its kinda corrupts it and makes it unrecognised. all the other cards work fine. gave it a good crack but have given up. tried everything under the sun. i deem the card to be officially dead. pitty cause she doesnt even have a comp to dl the pics let alone know how to use one so they were all on her card. ah wells. time to cut losses and move on. thanks guys.

thought id post this in the games section as its kinda related. my friends digital camera flash card kinda died when she tried printing pics at camera house with one of those kiosk thingys. camera is a kodak v530. disk is a sandisk 1gig SD. when we try to turn the camera on it says we need to format so we did but straight after it asks it again. the pc doesnt recognise the camera as a removable storage drive. ive also bought a card reader and it works fine untill i plug that particular card. the pc doesnt recognise it after that. all i need is for it to be bootable and recognised as a drive by the pc so i can use a recovery program to get some pics back for her. any suggestions tech heads?? cheers.

what kind of corolla was it? my mate used to have one of those old hatch back corollas with the better engine and that thing banged its tits off stock. RS pfft.

a new paint job? hard to say really, the amount of money you put into mods your not gonna make it back when you re-sell it. your lucky if you just break even. thats why everyone takes em off and sell them seperately. also the amount of cars now for sale already have mods so the next thing if not first for people to compare is overall condition of car and engine.
