  1. i was confused with the post too.....why change at 4500 from 2nd to 3rd? thats when the power actuall starts..LOL
  2. its called "burn that clutch":D:D granny shifting maybe where ur matching the revs to shift up?? i dunno what are u trying to achieve with this method??
  3. yeah not complaining about the feel, just the other stuff like having to rip off and cut existing things to put on the copy one. mine rattles cause the bottom end plastic thing is loose. im sure if u got the orginal ones theyre manufactured complete and everything fits perfectly. matter of convenience really.
  4. A.......ill give THEM the choice to slow down and go the limit behind me or overtake me. its on them not me to act as im doing anything wrong:D:D depending on the mood also id join pred and follow the guy home and burn his house down *evil thoughts*.
  5. yeah ive got a copys one in mine......pay that extra to get the real thing.
  6. u mean parker lights
  7. have a safe one everyone!!!! ill be spending mine alone as the familys goin on holidays..LOL. so when u crack one open, please think of me:D:D
  8. there was a long thread a while back about this. what i remember and too heed to was that the car is not ment to be left at idle for long periods because "glazing" of the engine might occur. ive stopped warmming up my car in the mornings now and like others just take it easy till the oil guage warms up.
  9. LOL:D:D he's new, hopefully he'll figure out how to edit/delete posts soon:D so has anyone called you out for a meet yet R33Hesh?? i wouldnt be surprised if it was petitte himself...LOL. he's probably thinking, shiit its getting too easy, i dont even have to leave the house to defect someone, ill just call em up and tell em to come over:D:D
  10. hey id dont know if im double posting or if this is old news but when i was in japan in august they had the PSX there, a big muther about the same size as an xbox.
  11. i guess the only way to check the hardness is to whack it on the car if youve had no previous experience with coil overs. spring rates should give you an indication of how stiff the ride might be but u have to remember though different people have different definitions of "too hard" some think its too much others think its just right. a good starting point is to go for a ride with someone who has the same coilovers and springs that ur planing to buy. hope that helps by the way, why does all ur words start with captial letters??LOL:D:D
  12. screws are located on housing itself, theyre the only adj hex/philips head bolts there. ones for adjusting height and the other horizontal angel i cant remember which is which.....just park ur car infront of a wall , turn on the lights and adjust.
  13. fark that!! you should be able to drive anywhere you want anytime you want within reason!! fair enough you got done on ur P's though. some may call it harassment, i mean you werent even in your car for farks sakes!! id seriously consider writing to the ombudsman?? and complain about this incident. yeah as GTTR34 said, should have refused to go back, tell them that your gonna ring your lawyer first before you do anything (always nice to have a lawyer in the family) and get your dad to pick up the car.
  14. some sort of compensation should be in order too:D:D
  15. can u get those bn sports style side and rear bar and how much?
  16. now thats a blatant business plug if ever i saw one..LOL:D dandy is a hole as far as im concerned, i hate driving and parkin there. any place can be a bad spot at the wrong time. i avoid parking in the dark corners far away from the entrances, as close to the shop as possible, and next to a nicer car as i call it "insurance" so i can avoid door dents cause people with nicer cars tend to respect other cars also the thieves would rather have a look at their car than my shitbox r33 in comparison:D:D
  17. only way to get it off is to heat the sealant with a hairdryer/heatgun?? and slowly pry it off.
  18. thanks guys yeah i orignally had the same setup on the stock 16"x6.5 rims with 205s front and 225's rear before i got this set. i think ill just stick with the 225's it has on it already. will be a costly mistake if things start lookin funny once fitted:D:D
  19. i dont think youve clearly stated your problem for someone to actually give you some worthwile advice. yes this is a skyline forum but we cant read minds:D like the post above, does it die in the ass while ur driving, stopping at the lights on idle??
  20. hey guys, recently noticed a loud ticking sound a couple days ago that was driving me nuts. turned out to be a nail in the front left tyre which sucks cause theyre only a yr old and i could have put the money into replacing the rear tyres instead. ba-humbug!! anyhoo's ive got 16" by 7.5 rims and was wondering would it be a good idea to stretch 205's on instead of225's?? pro's maybe that it will have less side wall flex and it will have that jap undersize tyre on rim look. cons are it might come off the rim on hard cornering and it will look funny with the existing rears..LOL. so what do you guys think??
  21. dont forget the vspec sticker too while ur at it.
  22. anyone know if theres an excel kit for my 33??
  23. each to their own man. its their money and they can do whatever they want with it. i like the conversion kits as its something different like the S15 fronts on the 180's and the 34 front on the steaga:D
