  1. hey guys, i have a redtop RB20DET NICS complete engine with coils and pretty sure loom is complete or allmost, im tshinking its not worth much but if anyones chasing some hard to get parts , ide rather help someone out than junk the shit as i dont see too many. drop us a PM if its worth anything to you and you can most likely have it for nothing.

  3. Hey everyone, I removed this RB25 neo NA from an R34 GT. I want to make it turbo and put it into my R32 4 door. I have all the bits sitting arround so i want to try do it cheaply. Its got 53 000kms on it, so first thought was maybe put a thicker head gasket on it and put the stock turbo set up from the r32 onto it, and run low boost. But then it would not cost too much to put an rb25 turbo bottom end into the non turbo block and make it a VVT rb25det. Im just wondering weather i would need to get pistons only , or do i need to get turbo pistons and rods from an rb25det?. i would also use the box from the NA r34 which looks like an RB20det gearbox. sitting arround i have a rb25 greddy copy plenum , rb26 injectors, car has hks exhaust and front mount. Any suggestions appreciated. Cheers, Mark.

  5. thanks allot for your help guys, You are correct in that the compressor wheel is smaller, i compared it to a "T28" found in an S14. I plan to run this turbo on a 4age which has been built. My "T25" is from an S13 (i think). The comp housing says M-24 Garrett A/R 80, and the exhaust housing says AR.64 , then 4Z7. There is no plate on it. It has been reconditioned so i was just going to use that, but aparently it will be a little underdone. I got the "T28" Comp housing for nothing so if it could be put to good use without too much expense it would be great. Aparently the T28 or GT28R or RS is more suited to the application. Im very confussed by turbo names and specs so please correct me if im wrong. Any suggestions welcome. cheers.
  6. I have a Garrett T25 turbo, and a mate gave me a T28 Compressor housing, He said i can swap the smaller comp housing on my T25 with this T28 housing, Can this be done?. Any info much appreciated. cheers.
  7. cheers for your help guys, yea they are the wrong nuts and 220 deliverd, (which is the going rate for those style annodized nuts), i located the australian rays dealer in melbourne. 80 bucks for genuine black rays ones to suit,
  8. Hey everyone, i have a set of Volk AV3 17 inch wheels i want to put on my R34 GT, Does anyone know where i can get a set of wheel nuts? I am in brisbane. I tried 999 and Ozzy with no luck today, cheers everyone "Volk Racing GT-C and Volk Racing AV3 shanked tuner style lugs nuts. 12x1.25mm. Uses Allen key socket"
  9. Thanks for your help in this topic man much appreciated. sounds just what this car needs. I am 80% sure it has an 044 pump . Whats the going rate for a Z32 AFM?. First on the list though is a manual conversion, then get the manual ecu tuned with the injectors etc. Here are some specs as it is 1989 R32 Gtst 4 door RB20DET Automatic GTR front bar Carbon fibre bonnet front mount intercooler Currently unidentified chinease hks copy turbo on stock manifold custom dump pipe HKS super dragger exhaust pod filter F & R strut bars Xhp 17' wheels
  10. thanks for the advice everyone. I have a resistor pack and plug here which is lucky. Also some more questions. What will adding the GTR injectors and Z32 AFM with ECU remap do for the engine exactly. Will it allow me to boost more? and stop pinging at redline? maybe reduce lag? should i run any other devices with this setup. At the moment it seems quite laggy its annoying . The turbo looks quite large, i will get its specs soon . Any suggestions appreciated. cheers
  11. thanks allot buddy. Fortunately It has a custom 3 inch dump pipe , straight through cat and a HKS super dragger exhaust. I am going to change it to manual soon. So i guess i will get a Manual ECU and get that Remapped and the injectors/AFM put in when i do the conversion. I read in another post that to use the GTR injectors i will need to use a ballast resistor, is this true?. Also would a Mines RB20DET tunes manual ECU suit my needs after a manual conversion?.   12. Hey everyone. I need some advice on tuning my skyline. I have an R32 GTST 4 door Automatic. The RB20DET is essentailly standard except for a larger, Chinease HKS copy turbo (sorry i have no idea what kind ) and a front mount intercooler. The turbo is laggy but pulls hard when it comes on, but starts to ping at or close to redline. I was told it needed a Fuel Cut defender?. Also there is no boost controller so i think i should get atleast a bleed valve. Also i have a set of GTR injectors laying arround which i would be keen to make use of. How would i do this? maybe Z32 AFM, GTR injectors and a ECU remap from the reading i have done?. Your suggestions much appreciated. Cheers. Mark.

  14. Hey everyone, i own an r32 GTST sedan and dont quite fit. Im 6 foot 6 tall and when i hold the steering wheel my hand hits my knees so i cant turn it full lock. Its annoying and dangerous. Does anyone know a good place to buy smaller race steering wheels?
