    1:13.6 1:12.02 was fastest from a Elise last year and 1:12.8 for the R32. Thats pretty impressive for its first event.

    Interesting thread as I am trying to find the largest possible diamter disc/caliper wheel combo for 17s. Would there be much difference between the profile/height of a Motorsport Alcon/Brembo caliper to say your OEM brembo off a GTR? I'm not sure about now but V8SC used/do? to run a 375mm front disc with 17s (obviously purpose built centre lock wheels).

    When I was in Wodonga in 2005 I saw that they were running a motorsport course and it appeared they had been doing so for a while.

    From when I asked sellers the Kumho V70As had same pricing between medium and hard compounds.

    You can get pilot sport cups in 245 and 315 for 20s, whats factory 245s and 285s? Don't Targa rules allow for different size wheels in order for R compound tyre fitment which would mean 19s are useable, more selection there....

    Bumping this thread Two possible solutions so far: 1) Hook up with a cousin and move to Tasmania 2) Fit some 15X6s, stocker suspension and enter a few bush bashing events

    I've done an after hours course at Tafe, I highly recommend it. I wasn't really too interested in oxy and stick modules but I did them anyway. I think it was 6 months one night a week for; stick, mig, oxy and tig. Better value for money than a two day course in my opinion.

    Dead set f**kwits. This makes my blood boil. Keen to know how you go as I will be doing this in the future, along with a mate. What if you have a AASA license instead of a CAMS license would also make things harder. Did you walking into a local QLD transport and ask about it out of interest? Wishful thinking that they would know anything about it......
