no probs i was shitty myself too when i did it LOL. but when i followed the connectors according to blanks i relise they are the male connectors. have fun. ps u going for injector signal or rpm. i got stock turbo too so let me know how much duty cycle u running. this is the way i set up mine. OFF-stock boost (this way u actually have 2 boost settings) A- .65 with 35% duty cycle (street) B- .80 with 45% DC (dont want to hurt my baby).....this is enough fun for now.

i just installed mine 2 days ago, that is the correct diagram and mine works . i highly suggest u got the the injection signal rather than the rpm since the avcr cant "self learn" the boost setting to the specific injection duty. (if u are setting it urself and not getting it tuned) if u are getting it tuned let the tuner set it to ur revs, my mate told me he knows a guy who blew his engine because of that. im gunna write up a DIY since no one here has done it for the avc-r. so it will be up soon heres a diagram that would really help. u can double check if ur wiring is backwards by checking the blanks. the diagram shows the male(pins) on the ecu. so make sure u dont get them mixed up. like i say follow this diagram, the blanks will clearly show u which wires the the right ones. gluck dude and make sure the wires are in good contact.

LOL, believe it or not but they do use blue metal, even one of the HPI dvd esp covered it on a drag car over in japan. personally i would have used bricks for the bling factor.

use acrylic or poly carb for ur front windscreen sidewindows and rearscreen. if u havent notice most drag cars have weights at the rear to aid balance at launch, we are talking at least 50-70kgs of steel sheets and blue chip rocks LOL. stereo is f**k all compared to other shit u can remove. just like aero mirrors, ppl spend 200-300 on cf mirrors to reduce 0.0000000000001% of drag coefficient WTF? i hate this kinda of bullshit of what ppl say, keep ur original mirrors and fold them in, that will give u the same effect. without the stereo u might save 2-4kg. but cruising satifaction is priceless mate. PS DRIVE NAKED!!!! makes up the weight of ur stereo. i think this is legal LOL since u are techincaly "in or on" ur own property.

i dont have a pfc. but just the standard computer. oh i get it, so i can purchase that "map sensor" as its known since the pressure sensor and map sensor are virtually the same? "By default as the PowerFC will not show boost pressure as it has no method of reading it in via the stock ECU loom. If you purchase a suitable map sensor and connect it to the PowerFC boost control kit port then the hand controller will display boost pressure. The boost control kit uses a Denso map sensor which is part #DPS 310 2000a - Denso 949940 6270 5V and the wiring loom cable/plug can be brought from Apexi which is around $40 AU. The cable is listed as the 3pin boost control harness. Nengun has this listed under Electronics -> Apexi -> D Jetro Option Parts" thanks heaps Paul can anyone else confirm this.

any had their avcr unit stolen that stil have the pressure sensor???. dw i didnt buy any stolen shit (just in case any1 think that its theirs) mine got wiring solenoid and the shitty box and some hoses and clamps, im just missing the pressure sensor. cheers all

i have the solenoid!! as for the pressure sensor, that the one im worried about, that why i went ahead with the purchase LOL. not sure if the stock sensor will provide the same voltage signals etc so i really want to play this safe.

hey guys i just bought a avcr but im missing a few parts due to the owner forgeting to remove all of the parts before selling his car. i have all wiring but for the pressure sensor and a few T joints and other nipples. anways i can easily buy T joints but does anyone know if i can use an pressure sensor as a replacement? i think i need the important parts 3, 17,18,19. can anyone help me out. i would be installing this on my car with stock turbo with internal wastegate. what parts DO i DESPERATELY need to find? thanks in advance

OK having mixed feelings, if its f**ked i have an excuse to convert it to manual. but any box probs is $$$$ so not happy. it shifts back to 3rd even when im on the freeway doing 100km. (flat road) i take my foot off the accel and caught 4th again but after crushing around it would slip in and out of 4th. it's happen for a few days straight now. what the likely prob? solenoid? all other gears are fine with smooth changes. thanks in advance

by the looks of it, piston must have gotten jammed and stretched the rods tilled it fractured, hell broke lose after that.

yeah i kinda relise it would have to run on the o2 sensor since i had the throttle body bare. im quite surprise it idle so well., everything is back on and running fine now.

mine idle pretty dam well, HOW the FU*K would the car know how much fuel/air to mix if i cant calculate the air flow without the AFM, i just reversed it back onto the drive way because i need to move a car out. *strange*
