Well to be quite honest it was a good idea and people seem to want to do it but this organising thing was sorta thrust on me and this being the first one that I've done I'm not sure that i should be doing it. If someone wants to take over your welcome but if not I'll plod along learning as I go and just have to put up with a L plater. I have tried twice to post maps for Cannon hill but they just dont appear (admin?), plus I haven't been able to access the Qld forum since yesterday arvo.

A new motorsport has been announced they(?) call it A1, it is based on F1 and Indy spec cars with difference being there is only one Manufacturer so all the cars start off at least on an equal footing. The different teams are country based and must have an indiginous driver. Australias Alan Jones is leading our team with his son as driver, it should be interesting at least because it all comes down to driver ability.(I'd love to have shares in manufacturer) Go aussie Go!:jump:

I can access every forum on this site usually but now and again i have trouble with the Qld forum i can read threads from that forum though (through history) but can't get the main page up, any one else have this problem? Also i sometimes have trouble with attaching a pic to a post and after that is when i have the qld trouble.

When I imported my car they (ADR) rejected two in the same batch one for rust on chassis rails under motor they cut the numbers outa da car and the other for forklift marks in chassis which could be repaired with a very detailed list of repair instructions very sic way of doing it but he had no choice glad it wasnt mine. I also learnt if you repair this b4 they see it you can get away with it.

There doesnt seem to many fors for this date so am thinking of moving it to mon the 18th (itsa Public hol)

For what i know there isnt just stainless steel it comes in a wide variety for different uses like ord 308 & marine 316 but then there are their martenstic properties (bit blurry here) some will harden when heated and cooled, others will aneal (Soften) with same but then harden if left to cool. It is a hard metal to work in any way shape or form and i've seen it crack seldom but it does crack.

I was reading a thread in here about black intercoolers but cant find it now. It went on about how radiators were black in all cars so does this mean they run cooler than other colors. And thinking upon this it makes sense because white reflects energy and black absorbs it so the black layer of paint is absorbing all the energy and at the same time being cooled by air while moving of course.(makes a better transfer point) and the rougher the paint the more surface area to cool. I liked an opion on this b4 I try it

I am setting up a cruise to meet in the sunlight so we can all appreciate each others rides that little bit more. It will be on saturday the 16th April at 1 o'clock we plan to meet at cannon hill first then head off to BWCP to arrive about 4 o'clock then cruz the Gold Coast way. A map for the meet at cannon hill is being sorted and will be up soon.

For the cruz part if the GCoasters wanna meet up at BWCP at say 4pm that would give us enogh time to look and meet at Cannon hill then down to bwcp for another meet and look/pics while still light then...

Just got back from holden performance whatsi, had to follow these slow bastards out there (insert pic porches) and had a good look at some awe inspiring cars (insert pic of cars) and saw this R31 looking good mate. That land cruiser has low profile tyres scary though it may seem it did ok!

I would like all the skylines in one spot @ carprk but any car can come along we're not snobs aleast im not and any modfied car is interesting to me or standard for the fact that it is easier to see mods on other cars
