  1. I have a pair of warped ones that cant be machined again I should of thrown them long ago, I drink beer or bourbon.
  2. I think I got my wires crossed on the gearbox, it seems it does bolt up and I got confused with puting a rb20 box in a 33 because, you have to change the tailshaft yoke to suit, and the crossmembers don't line up and speedos are different. So you could possibly do it.
  3. You would be better off with the RB20det, easier fit up and the harness cant be that different. the rb20 gearbox doesnt fit the Neo without some mods.

  6. Although this is a pic of the drivers side the passenger side is the same and alot easier to get at. In the pics it is the cap with the wire in it, to get it out, turn it a bit and then pull out, the blub sits in the cap.
  7. There are a few apprentice employment agencies, they actually employ you as an apprentice and hire you out to companies as such. All Trades Queensland, Group Training Aust, Busy At Work Traineeship & Apprenticeship Services are a few there are more. In july last year the federal gov made it easier to become an apprentice so give it a try. The mining sector are paying huge wages for diesel mechs.
  8. I asked about the intercooler because the stock one restricts boost, but you have no worries there.
  9. lol thats funny To build boost the turbo relies on the piping to transfer it to the plenum, if there is no pipe there you cant have boost and the motor is drawing air through that pipe instead of the air filter so the air flow meter is not in the loop, frankly I dont know how it is running at all.
  10. I just had a look in Nissan Fast and it lists the DE the same as the DET pistons, probably why the fail so regularly under higher boost.
  11. So has Jones won? I just checked the final stage and the cullmitive points had him in front by 14seconds?
  12. Thats absolutely farkin awesome, 1 day to go and it definately looks like at least a top 3 finish. I wonder where the Corvette Zr1 is though
  13. Pm sent For those that dont know 25mm is the lowest you can go on the stock suspension without the need for adjustable camber arms etc.
  14. Have you got a link to Eug's thread? I just had a look for it and cant find it.
  15. One way to check is to spray some CRC or maybe something heavier in it and see if it makes a difference to the sound, it would be worn from the belt pressure, so up/down side to side.
  16. Did you check the CAS bearing for movement?
  17. From what i understand of the stripped cog scenario, it is possible to just replace that part but the cost is up there, whereas replacing the whole thing is up there too either way the whole dash has to come out just to get to it.
  18. Black wire = negative
  19. Smoke, could be burning oil from spillages while doing the job, if it goes away your all good but if it persists it could be the oil lines leaking, they carry a fair bit of pressure while running.
  20. What intercooler are you using?

  22. I did with a Malpassi unit, it was recommended by my tuner because he had to up the fuel pressure to accomodate the higher boost i was running (18psi) and the stock injectors which wouldnt flow enough at standard pressure. If you are running normal specs it shouldnt matter.
  23. Bump
  24. To test the coil pack, looking at the pins (connectors) test the resistance between the left 1 and the middle 1, it should be good between 0.6-0.9 ohms.
  25. Try Kudos http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=228296 he has awesome prices and service.
