  1. Mines ECU tuned to run on 100ron? What ron does canada have?
  2. A friend of mine used to build Ti racing pushbikes (until china pushies), to look at unheated it is very similar to stainless but has a greyer/silvery hue, he welded it in a vacuum chamber with tig, he filled it with argon then sucked it all out to form a non O2 enviroment.
  3. The bolt circled in red is the only thing holding it, I would hazard a guess that its loose.
  4. Here is the scenario as I have seen it , the population of the goldy has allways had that bad element, come to feed off the holidyers, but from late 90s it has increased with the huge influx of residents, the goldy is like a magnet for these types, but they dont realise that life on the street is tough, low wages, high rents, they crash and burn. Heres a another scenario, my car has been stolen, when driving I spot it, get on to police but they cant help, is there a security mob that does instant call outs for this sort of dilemma?

  15. What a start to my day, I drive up the logan mwy and my car starts stutering comes good then sttttuuttttterr all the way to slacks creek where I drop it off to my very busy tuner, get the bus home (Oh so looong) try to start the bike and its got a flat battery, on charge now, seems I wasnt meant to leave home and I should of stay in bed asleep. PS I could of whored this into a least 7 posts but meh
  16. For those who like to cruise the gold coast Boab st has nearly every house lit up each year.
  17. If you look closely at that pic it looks like the turbo goes straight to the plenum but it actually goes under it the through a huge intercooler, I think it helps keeps the plenum cooler.
  18. Finally got around taking a pic of one of our workhorses, it pushes a 6Bar HP waterpump, its noisy and hot.
  19. I was paticularly happy to finally see a RB25/30 in a R33, good job there.
  20. i just saw this i still have time cu there
  21. I never realised that a Unijoint constantly speeds up and then down with each revolution at an angle. Thats a fairly major improvement on the exisisting technology, shares could skyrocket if it stands the test of time, from what I could see it relies on those pins inside the cage to transfer the energy but I couldnt make out what they drive, I assume it is a set of holes that the pins align in, the pins themselves would be the weak point but with new alloys progressing everyday its quite possible.
  22. With the standard set the valve timing is set and cannot be changed unless you fit a set of adjustable cam gear spockets, they are a 2 piece unit compared to a standard solid one, the outer part can rotate around the inner one and they have locking bolts to hold it in place at the right spot.
  23. I Think you missed the point ie "IN THE MEANTIME", mainly, because if a belt is squealing it's time to replace it belt dressing or not, if your that tight up you cant afford a new fan belt how can you afford a can of belt dressing? If its wet, dry it acts like a belt dressing.
  24. Get someone to block the tailpipe and listen along the system, the leak will stand out fairly quickly.
  25. When this happened on mine I found it was an electrical problem, I fixed it by unclipping all the plugs and spraying them with Lanox, I couldnt figure out which one it was but it fixed it, when I say all the plugs I mean every one from front to back.
