Sif they care what we think, they throw the rule book away when they join and do what THEY want, but I'll say it again they are good up here compared to the southern states.
  2. Hey Bryn I just read about your job. No wonder your bored! lol
  3. It could be that it needs a bit of grease in the runners, do a search for the correct type, does it move if you help it with your hand? Dont try to use it, as you may burn something out.
  4. Sounds to me like you have had a water leak that spewed the water, the car overheated and blew the head gasket, or it could be the other way around with the extra heat and pressure you have blown a pipe after the head gasket went either way, its head off and fix it.
  5. You mean it's staying closed and not venting excess boost, it is closed untill the set boost level is reached then vents the excess, check your vacuum lines to boost controller and on to wategate actuator. Blow hard into the line with it connected to the actuator and see if it moves.
  6. Have you searched? A bit more info needed, is it while boosting or when you back off, your BOV may need to be tightened.
  7. If you are using lots of fuel its running rich, which is safe but get a tune up as you dont know what the ECU is upto, try resetting the ecu so it learns the new combo BUT a tune is the safest way to go.
  8. Works out great, if you wanted to retain the original setup, you could get a pipe made up with the same dimensions as the cat that would bolt in, that way you could go back to a cat, for resale or street use.
  9. Most after market dump pipes, be they spilt (dual) or not, are designed to bolt straight up, is this XS pipe just the dump part (about 6" long) or the dump/front (4 foot), if it is the dump and the front pipe is standard you would be better replacing it to the catback with a 3" pipe, if it is dump/front just get a pipe made to replace the cat.
  10. Top stuff matey, I didnt know it exsisted, just how hard are they to get out? A write up on cleaning it would be very helpful, I have a feeling this is a culprit that has gone unnoticed.

  23. Whats with dans trader rating? I just left one and it seems I am his main customer seems to me that it should be 11tybillion. I had a bit of a nasty accident last night as I was walking through a door and the screen closed on my heel and bit into the heel, uuggggh just what I need just needed and big bandaid.
  24. Just use a 12 volt power source on the connection on the round part, there are three tabs, one is left, one right and the middle I think is negative (dont quote me on that), When I did it I used sheilded aligator clips to work it out and no need at all for the hard ways, works a treat, the wheel alignment guy checked all my nuts and bolts as I left the rubber boots loose and he zipped tied them after.
