  1. Half day fridays in the new job, I am good but have to work tommorrow :-(
  2. If you were Peter Brock what would you think is a fitting tribute? He was a genius and a great role model to many, many people, a small mark of respect from our community will not be disrespected by anyone, in fact it could be a chance to show others that we are just like them when it comes to hero worship and the respect due to a legend.
  3. I did a search and found a member who had a discount deal with one that he was offering to SAU, I cant remember which/who but a search may help.
  4. HI Karen :waves back Gidday Troy Does Don Chip count? he didnt die doing what he loves and it was fairly natural. Plus I didnt luv him like the other 2.
  5. Have you been in the general auto discussion thread?
  6. Why is it the good ones? He did what he did and was damned good at it. RIP
  7. Just the bolt ons so far, if I go internal I have a wish it will be 24valve RB30. Torque is where its at baby yeah!
  8. Comes on hard at 4000 rpm but as you can see on the dyno chart the torque is way up there before that, the turbo and dump/front was second hand, I bought it for $530 in the qld for sale, being an older style turbo I think a new cartridge would see better spool times, as the the impeller for the boost side is steel and a nylon one may fix that.
  9. Lets us know the times, a very impressive vehicle you have there.
  10. I recently upgraded my turbo and dump/front from a bitza set up that started with a split dump on the standard turbo, then a front pipe added on later, it was good for 212kw but limited due to the 2 1/2" dump and the turbo at it's limit, mind you after 18 mths @ 16 psi it was still good, then at some stage I noticed it wouldnt boost above 15psi, Dan (3lit3 32) reckoned it was the studs snapped on the manifold, he was right but not quite as I had cracked the manifold as well. So I got a turbo with dump and a second manifold and installed the lot myself, and after a delay due to dyno comps, I had noticed that the cat was only 2 1/2" and with the bigger dump, the exhaust note quite louder as well, Right Price installed a 3" cat and resonator for 400 and I was off for a retune, it made 312rwhp/232kw @ 14psi easily, the turbo is a bit laggier but seems to be more gruntier down low, if that makes sense, the exhaust note is alot gruntier as well but the resonator took the harsh bark out of it. my next step will be the injectors, 550cc should do me. A few more pics of the whole works are HERE Nobody can identify this turbo, GoFastBits said it was probably a HKS prototype, it is a BB and has american threads in it, Dan reckoned it be equivalent to a high flow and Peter Woodward my tuner said it looked like one off a Rotary .

Due to work I cant compete but I will be going either sat arvo or sunday, anyone going to there around then?
  18. I had the same as Impact_blue, although you couldn't actually see it like hers, a tyre change has fixed it.
  19. The pipe with flange replaces the stock one that goes to the inlet (see pic, I have a temp sensor in there now) you will have to disconnect the standard one by removing the vacuum hose and routing it to the new location and blanking the standard one off, I did that by cutting an ali can to shape and inserting in between the flange and standard BOV so the old BOV stays there.
  20. Lock it out if you dont want it, some ppl like it, others dont like a computer controlling whats about to happen, I prefer it gone even though I liked it 90% of the time, it was that 10% that put me off.
  21. A mate of mine got hit in the foot by a stingray, within 5 mins his foot was twice its size, no wonder he died, sad day for his family.
  22. youd be better off asking in the Car Audio section http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...php?showforum=9
