  1. What you want is the boot lids that are made to sit flush with the panels
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;hl=pineapples Have a read of that thread and draw your own conclusions. EDIT I just noticed that a pic of the whiteline setup doesnt work in that thread. Luckily I have a copy
  3. They held in with clips, just pull up from teh front, the back upright bit is the same.
  4. Split shims are 4.75 mm thick 21.3 ID 45 OD Does ny1 know the colour codes for the R33 hicas ecu wiring?
  5. The pineapples fit into a gap between the standard bush and the sub frame, they tighten up the rear end sway a fair bit.
  6. That is why I went with the new stockos, everyone I asked said the same as Cubes, Splitfires are stock spec.
  7. Finally a product I would use, the photos of the flex it has would destroy fiberglass and stress fracture CF.
  8. And well you know that I did at the time! lol No additives just BP ultimate.
  9. I pulled out these iridiums a while ago, they had done 30,000kms at 212kw, I posted them up att and got good feedback, i put them back in after a light clean and have done 10k kms since. They are gapped at .8 and a heat range of 7.
  10. 50,000 pounds for the top HP car on england's roads, must be old as the Veyron has that now but not at that price.
  11. I deleted the neo plug in first post, as I could not find it on the nkg website, I've asked before but does anyone know what they are using in the Neo?, the $650 is for NEW stock coils in factory box. It is confusing yes and with so many things that affect the firing properly I have learnt from this that the best way to track a problem is to check, 1. your coils for cracks and with a multimeter. 2. the plugs for useability and the right gap/heat for the boost you are running. 3. the fuel is the right Ron rating 4. the tuner did a good job of getting it right. You can cover 123 easily enough but 4 is harder, it is more to do with the timing that is dialed in for the problem phase but would be a rare one I think. And to think all I wanted to know is what plug to use lol.
  12. So 4 percent more fuel for no 6, the extra heat in that area would be my concern, as to my noobie thinking it has affected no 5 as well?
  13. Toulene is an alternative as well as methanol/water injection.
  14. Adapting the 25 head to the 30 block is your biggest hurdle if you keep the stock bottom end, it depends on how much power you want and how much you have to spend, If you posted saying you want 400hp on a budget of $5000, I'm sure you would have some replies. What parts do you have from the old motor, turbo, head etc? A rb30 motor is easy to come by and fairly cheap compared to ours and if your old head is still good your set for a great motor but it all comes down to your goal.
  15. I'm in logan and have one you can use.
  16. I can relate to that.
  17. You mentioned Coffs Harbour, if you do your research you will find that coffs is exactly opposite the burmuda triangle but instead of airplanes and such, it is intelligence that disappears plus the fact that is in NSW means theres not much of that stuff around anyway. Try installing a flux capacitor and the dole office, they dont shit where they eat!
  18. Most probably a welsh plug has rusted through although that would be water only, maybe 2 have gone and thats why theres oil as well. In that position, your up for alot of work just to get to them or whatever the problem is, as the intake manifold would have to come off completely, the welsh plugs are quite easy to replace though
  19. All of the products I used worked well but I have to keep it up, none are a permanent fix in my case.
  20. OMG you've had a small incident! Who would have guessed huh?
  21. I did my apprenticeship on shipping, There are guys who specialise in this area (those blocks are Zinc) and get an iron block with sea cooling to have zero corrosion, They use small zinc anodes inserted into the motor cooling passages and an electrical current to protect the inner sufaces. Of course the annodes wear away reguarly and require yearly checks.
  22. Does this happen when the motor is warm?
  23. I searched and found that they have units that are much like mine (LT12) but they also have an option for a motec like self tuning with added senors. The problem is they have no prices on thier site.
  24. Umm Taso84 its in the turbo... Or a complete rebuild is always good
