  1. So is the stage2 worth $1300 or should I just stay away from it?
  2. Does any one know what extra a stage 2 GCG HF has over a stage 1?
  3. What motor is that in the very first pic?
  4. cute hats HA I like cats but some just piss me off
  5. Back to stickers mmm Cats make good Hats It was in 3" letters across vans rear window, for the cat haters in all of us.
  6. hahahahahahaha! just scratchin his arse I reakon I wouldnt put crappy oil in my engine, but if its brand new oil and the same type (synthetic and non syn dont mix) a flush never hurts if you can afford it.
  7. and has a madman behind the wheel
  8. The lower intake temp the better, cold air is denser and by ratio more oxygen packed in it. I installed an air temp sensor for the microtech and watching the temps in summer, it goes 1 or 2 below air outside temp but if it rains it drops by halve.
  9. Yeah its like the gt25 or gt30, a gt27 is whats needed.
  10. I remember you asking why I had my rev limiter set to 7100, because on the dyno that was where the power curve dipped sharply (turbo methinks).
  11. better off in the import forum
  12. ill be heading that way, with you guys now c u there
  13. Yeah go back to stock they work very well and use the hole for an air temp sensor. Have a lookat this thread as well http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=114377
  14. I would recomend Queensland as well but depends on what climate you like as well as Qld gets bloody hot but then again its mid Autum and I can still wear shorts, and as said, depends on what you study as to which ones you apply USQ, Monash, Bond (any others?) some have campusus from Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast.

    Well done.
  16. When I was a surveyors assitant doing road condition surveys we had to recalibrate the speedo every day due to tyre wear, I was surprised how much it was out each time. This is an extreme case I know but it just showed me how inaccurate car speedos are (we had an an electronic jobby in the test vehicle), we tested it on a stretch of road that had 1km marked on it and at the start point I had to spray the mark on the tyre and at the 1km mark the computer would tell us where the mark should be and then compare to where it actually was.
  17. no intake air temp sensor on the r33gtst the coolant sensor is in the ali casting that is connected to the top hose on the radiator, there are 2 there I'm not sure which one it is.
  18. Timeslips 4 of my best but only 1 is OK really. Practice OH practice. Took my car to tuner yesterday and it was running sweet, so its all down to technique now. By the way Hardcore have changed management now, Pete still has the dyno but it's a seperate business now and is going by the name of "protorque" performance tuning, I recommend him highly, some of the old staff are still there but all the salesmen are new and have no record of any previous work, so if you have any of those type of quetions talk to Pete and he may be able to help.0438876649 dragtimeslipssml.bmp
  19. Good thing is most shops will know of the place to do whatever you need. Been giving this a bit more thought and welding new bit on is not the answer as it will need to be heat treated to prevent brittleness around weld (very important on high grade steels) and will discolour the whole thing. My choice would be a helicoil on the first 2/3's with a thread locking loctite, only because I'm concerned about it snapping off by making it thinner with the smaller thread for the helicoil.
  20. Mainly time was Dans enemy he got there late and only had 2 runs.
  21. 13.79 thank you very [email protected] on first run 60ft was 1.99 Went up from there around 14.1 for the next 6 runs
  22. Yeah thats what I had in mind to cut it off ond weld on new thread, the knob should hide it.
  23. Sydneykid did an excellent post about this topic, (where? I dont know) he went on to explain how removing casting roughness in the manifolds and how intercooler and piping size all effect the final outcome. Your question should be "How many KW can I safely squeeze out of the RB25" and the answer is around 250 rwkw, some have died before this and other have gone past it.
  24. How long has it been happening? Since the new shaft? Does it do it over 100? Have you had a balance done on the wheels? I have heard that nissan can do a diagnostic and pin point this problem from other posts on here, they say that their problems were on going untill they did it.
  25. On the same topic I was listening to the radio and the RACQ's motoring expert was talking about the road carnage and ways to help, the interveiwer asked him if high powered imports were a problem to look at he replied that he would rather see young drivers in these cars than some old heap that has none of the safety aspects of the imports. I was most impressed and it shows that some at least see the light.
