I have looked into a next turbo and there are soooo many, I looked into a new setup where they take your turbo and replace the exhaust housing and wheel and replace it with a TO4 setup, they hiflow the comp/Air housing and a bigger wheel. redo the bearings or upgrade to 360 thrust (xtra 200) for $800. This is perfect for me ATM and price is 1/2. I thought I should get a laptop to run different modes as I dont want to run 20psi all the time, 14 is great and there are places in this big land that dont sell 98oct so waitin till those greenies pile up again. The laptop is a toshiba and getting the software was easy but the dongle was $100+ !! it all runs great and now I need to learn how to manage this program, AnY tIpS?

If it is the suspension I had a rattle like that after new rear shocks were put in, I took it back and they couldn't find anything wrong!!! Ended up taking it to Kieth for wheels in slacks creek and they hadnt located the shock porperly on the bottom (apparently easy to do) no harm done.

I used a VN como V6 one as recomended by my tuner bought new from holden pretty cheap, got the connector plug from wrecker for nil only trouble was finding thread to match as it is an american thread.(dammed yanks)

At the MSC I was showing the couple in the burgundy R33 my FMIC isnstall and a guy from TTR (??) racing said that he could clear my bonnet of a defect becuse it is a fibreglass bonnet with a carbon covering, anyone gotten off a defect like this?

The upright part of the seats are bolted at the bottom and clip in at the top, and the bottom part clips in at the rear and bolts at the front. if they arent clipped in or bolted tight they will rattle, check to see that they are, unfortunately you have to take them apart to check.

Have you bypassed the factory boost control? It pumps up the boost like you described (7psi then 9psi) I dont know if it would do the what you said to your manual boost controller but it sounds similar.

I had a great day thanks to SAU Qld for a well run cruise. Special thanks to Erin you did a grand job. At least the weather held out untill the end, I was lucky to miss the worst of it. On the Ipswich motorway I set the cruise ctrl and about 3 bends before the tolls I hit a puddle (no rain) looked like just wet tarmac but aquaplaned me sideways for awhile, scary stuff. lucky there was no traffic.

Had my line for 1 1\2 yrs now and learnt some hard lessons along the way. First DONT drive over drive gutters fast! If your stuck go at a huge angle or back out, you drive in and its fine but try to get out! Your front bar will love you. If you have no ABS expect to lunch front tyres as some idiot pulls out in front (twice), these are a cast iron block, I now run a harder compound which seem to handles it better. Drift is quite tricky with the Hicas trying to correct you, allthough the harder compound makes it easier. If you change anything on the standard set up, alot more needs to be done than just the one thing.

I saw a members r32 CF bonnet that is pretty faded now and figured the same may happen to mine one day, plus the fact that to be race safe they need a layer of Kevlar over it, what the weight added and look is.

If it was me I'd be doing a crash course in the pfc, microtech or many others, with an exhaust sensor you can do a tune with 2 ppl while driving. For 200kw on my rb25 i have pod, 3" turbo back, intercooler, 1bar, fuel pump/reg, and microtech. Without the microtech I had lots less kw but was running shite. Duh slaps forehead. You can do all your mods then get a chip custom made for them so whayever you do theres some one out there who can do it for you.

Sorry to hear about it Liam. Good to hear no injuries and your in the clear. Make sure they repair it properly, I've seen so many dodgey repairs by reputable panel shops but face facts it will never be like it was. Good luck.
