A Springwood meet can be organised say a 1 hour before the main meet to get together and leave enough time to be there but untill we get definite times it can wait.

I've had my share of abuse I suppose and my usual reply was FLICK OFF dickhead untill one day, in the grip of road rage, I had a guy laugh at me and I realised that it was funny if not directed at you, or more to the point it is funny watching someone go off esp if youve done the same thing and felt embarassed afterward. So now when someone abuses me I laugh at them, not a chuckle but a full on laugh and it works, they either laugh along with you or get embarassed and slink away, its only the ones with those crazy eyes that I avoid, you know that stare, the thousand mile one, or the rollin eyes, they worry me them ones.

I will be there

Im a Fitter/welder tradesman and apprenticeship are well worth it. In ten years we will need even more tradesman than we do today so no matter what you choose you will be employed. I 'd go the sparky if I had my choice they are in heavy demand and their work is quite easy compared to my trade and CLEAN. Chipies tend to have highs and lows in their work, depending on the housing industry but is a good trade as well. I encourage anyone to do a trade because like me you can leave when your sick of it and go back anytime.

Quote:- As you will have seen on Beyond Tomorrow, Ariel Motor Company in the UK make the Atom, a 520kg two seater road car with the dynamics and performance of a single seater racer - a car that's about having a tonne of fun on the road and track. To give you some idea of the background behind the Atom, Ariel designer/director Simon Saunders (who was featured in the programme) has designed both motorcycles and vehicles including being lead exterior designer for Aston Martin for a period in the 80s and being one of the exterior designers for the Porsche 959. He went on to became a successful independent designer, working on a wide variety of projects and also lecturing in vehicle design. In the late nineties he decided to redefine the Lotus 7 concept in a way that incorporated the superbike experience and in 1999 the original Ariel Atom was born with 120 BHP of Rover power. In late 2003 the Atom was significantly updated including Honda powerplants and Ariel have built vehicles at their manufacturing capacity since this time - around 80 vehicles per annum. In early 2006 Ariel will be moving into a new factory premises which we trust will have capacity sufficient for the Australian market. As for the Atom itself, it's an all-new production vehicle built to customer order from a large variety of options to allow you to create a vehicle that suits your needs. The major option is, of course, your choice of powerplant and the car that Matt Shirvington drove was a 160 BHP car with a Honda Civic Type S engine which gives a similar power to weight to a Porsche 911 Turbo. There is also a naturally aspirated Civic Type R engined car producing 245 BHP and a supercharged version of the same engine producing 300 BHP in which Matt experienced hot laps at the track. As the Australian and New Zealand distributor for Ariel, we are undertaking Australian compliance for the Atom and expect to have this completed by mid-2006. Those of you familiar with the Australian Design Rules and the compliance process will know that nothing is simple or guaranteed but we will complete it as soon as possible and are making a serious investment in the process over the coming months. On obtaining our import approval we will be intially limited to supplying 25 vehicles per annum across Australia under the DOTARS Low Volume Scheme. On the pricing of the Atom, Beyond Tomorrow's policy of giving the local pricing for products may have been misleading for you. The 160 BHP Atom does start at £20,000 in the UK and this does correlate to 46,000 Australian dollars for a UK resident wanting to own an Atom and use it in the UK. It does not, however, cover vehicle modifications required to meet the Australian Design Rules, containered shipping to Australia nor Duty, GST and Luxury Car Tax on landing the vehicle locally. With these expenses factored in we expect the landed cost of the base specification 160 BHP Atom to be between $66,000 and $71,000 but the reality is that it's too soon to offer anything that resembles firm pricing. Perhaps the most important aspect is that our sales model is fair and will allow you to take advantages of any improvements in the exchange rate should they arise. Unquote:-

just got a quote for price $70,000 for base model due for delivery in april 2006 for track only as it is not through compliance yet.

Bummer cambell, with all the hassels you've had allready more come along, will look for the barina, look for a silver 33 with carbon fibre bonnet and say hi.

Im running 12psi but I also have walbro fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and microtech ems. 10psi is maxing out the standard intercooler flow rate and probably your fuel system too, dont know what a fuel cut defender is but if your serious about power get a engine management system (EMS)because in the end it makes it all that much easier to get it right.

I used a walbro and Ive been down to empty mark but not past it. -
Let me get this straight. You gave this dude your car to work on and X months later he has shell that is stripped and he says that you took the parts off yourself, and he is now selling said parts? I will buy the parts give me a link for contact, I don't like rippoffs and I think I can sort it out for you.

stock dump pipe restricting flow is my guess (it was with mine but also fuel pump not keeping up) and you should get it tuned, if it leans out too much it could detonate. -
most performance cars are manual except the high HP drag cars, I wanted an auto but they are rare and nobody wants em.

Weird Thud While Idling... Cause?
R33S2 replied to sl33py's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
You mentioned the aircon, does it do it when its off? Is it an auto? Is it backfiring? -
From what I understand the situation was that they axed the skyline due to expense and the car dealers demanded a skyline badged car so they wacked one on these imposters and it stuck. The new GTR looks cool enough but can't wait for engine details, I'm sure it will be a world killer.

Southbank. I'll be going to have a look, get there early as the que was huge last year.

I get arond 9.8l/100km in fairly modified R33SII there are lots of reasons but a good tuner and the O2 sensor are the main ones that got me there (check my blog). The factory BOV works well and is all you really need.
