    Ah I see the bit now. Yes a weld job to fix that, you would have to take the master cylinder off, disconnect battery and a weld blanket to cover melty things.

    The catch at the front has three bolts in it, loosen them and move the whole catch down a bit, try a few times to get it right. Also there are round button thingos on each side that scew up and down.

    Another thing is you should change the oil filter every 10,000ks. I was told by my tuner to only use BP ultimate.

    More information please. When you say a grinding noise, is it from around the pedal or under the car near the clutch itself? The photos show the master cyclinder of the clutch which is like a pump that operates a slave cylinder that disengages and engages the clutch. If the grinding noise is in the master cylinder you can get a replacement fairly easily.

    Any body in brisbane downloaded the r33 manuals yet as its just too big/long for my 56k line to download. I have Nissan fast on dvd if you want to swap.

    "do they just weld it or something if its a minor one?" They either solder or braise the hole, its a hard job because its gotta be perfectly clean but relativly simple. If the hole was caused by corosion its Farked but a stone could be the culprit and then its repairable.

    I am a bit concerned about being defected (not that it stopping me driving) and was wondering if there is a place I could go and get a cert saying that the car is ok. Anyone got any ideas.

    Congrats Dan glad to see that you worked out the problem. Now thats over I have a pointless question about turbo sizes. When you specify a size for a turbo you use, say 0.84 this size I am assuming is the housing size, or more to the point the diameter of the inside of the housing? And this sizing is in imperial decimal eg 0.75=3/4" if not (and I dont think its looking at the turbos) what is it? Thanks Terry

    Well if its not loosing fluid and youve changed the thermostat it could be gunked up, then the flush you did will help but if it continues get it to a sepecialist fast because ive had similar problems with other cars and it just gets worse.

    Are you losing fluid? Was it full of coolant or water? Is it discoloured? Have you flushed with flush treatment?

    There is a thread here that convinced me to change my O2 sensor without a check, basically I was using heaps of fuel and my rear was covered in black soot i changed it and no soot and better fuel use, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=43095 it goes into great detail have a read.

    they are a well made vehicle that require a oil change every 5000ks. I have changed my O2 sensor http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=43095 and gained some extra ltr/km apart from that I've had some minor electrical problems that seemed bad but were easily fixed. Look for anything you would normally look for.

    I live in coffs and own a modded R33 and i have been put through so much by the cops here.Because of them i have been forced to move interstate (QLD) I feel your pain because they did the same to me except Yamba, is why I said b4.

    Before mods I was getting around 480ks for 50 lts after EMS, 4" zoorst, pod, FMIC, & more boost I'm getting 420ks to 50lts a new oxygen sensor improved it also in this time.
