  3. lol, gotta love da boys at ice, my cars been there for about a week now coz they've been working hard trying to find a turbo suitable for my application, with no luck so far must be stressful, so should have the car back by monday so i can drive it for the time being whilst we all work out what turbo i can use

LOL i agree with funky, im sick of the cop bashing, its funny to an extent, but thats a pretty serious accident, and he's right, what if your dad was a cop and was killed in a car crash whilst in the line of duty??
  5. sounds like the turbo blades are chewing into the housings, you'll need a new turbo or a rebuild of that one, i'd stop driving the car so that u dont get turbo fins going into your engine!

  8. ok im going to aim for 250rwkw, i'd like to have a fuel pump/injectors that will easily do this power rating, dont want anything getting near their max!! will the bosch 910 fuel pump be enough ? and nismo 550cc injectors ? or should i go one step up ?

  10. funny how the TRUST T517z turbo is more powerful than the 2530 and the 2540 when it was supposed to sit 'in-between' those two maybe ill get one of those instead

  12. yer they brought it near my house and we were 4 wheel wheelspinning around the block nah on a serious note i live RIGHT near the airport and was out and about last night but didn't see it if that gives some sense of relief
  13. lol on a more serious note, my cars sitting at ice now with turbo and manifold etc off (coz a manifold stud snapped) and thats been fixed but its sitting now until i decide whether to do the turbo/injectors etc now or not, im waiting on a quote for a 3037 (internal wastegate) garett type turbo, 700*ish*cc injectors and a large bosch fuel pump and Z32 AFM all fitted tuned etc would this setup be nice for a street setup if i was pushing 250rwkw form it with stock engine ? or should i go a smaller turbo like a 2530 or T517z ?
  14. hehe, im not chasing huge horses like u denham, just ponies for me 250rwkw is PLENTY for my street needs, dont think much on the road would beat my line with 250rwkw, especially with all my rice!!!

  17. ok, well i was thinking if i go a bigger garett or similar will i experience more lag etc ? but was thinking if i go the highflow ill have the same spool time etc ? or is this not true ? i just want a RESPONSIVE 250rwkw, dont think ill want to go any higher in power so i dont mind getting a turbo that will be good for only a bit more than 250rwkw but would respond better than say a 3037S

  19. ok i want to high flow my factory turbo,upgrade injectors fuel pump and AFM, target power is 250rwkw, i have a powerfc, nice big trust front mount so thwe rest of the car should be sweet for it, but is 250rwkw an honest goal ? or is something around 220-230 more probable ? and what work on the turbo needs to be done to reach the best power ? and anyone know approximate costs ? cheers
  20. i rekon its so much easier walking into a job each day knowing what needs to be done just doing it then going home and FORGETTING about it all... like who cares if u had a **** customer for the day, big deal, what about if u got a **** assignment BUT i rekon everything is as bad as each other, unis got its ups n downs, so does working, lifes a bitch, dig it!

  22. ok, i want to chase 250rwkw now as i believe this is possible off stock internals (R33 GTST) im looking at getting something like a 3037 (internal wastegate type) turbo, 700ish cc injectors and a fuel pump to suit (what hp?) so that in the future if i do a bottom end rebuild i can squeeze a bit more power outta the turbo/fuel system, oh and of course a Z32 AFM my question is, what else will i need ? head gasket ? cam gears ? cheers
