  5. one of my bolts is missing, fortunately for me i just get a slight ticking noise, boys at ice performance told me to leave it for now, if i get a bigger turbo or it starts getting noisy then i should bother replacing it, its a common problem with skylines so i'd say just leave it unless its real bad, then head over to ice performance and see what they say

  9. would and oxygen sensor cause any other type of noticeable problems that can be found on a dyno ? as ive had a full powerfc dyno tune and everything looked fine on there, hmm, gotta get a retune next week anyways so i will tell them how much economy im getting and see what they say

  13. ok, pinging wqhen its real bad sounds like a 'tick tick tick' in thew erngine bay, trust me if its bad enough to hear it BACK OFF.. but the powerfc detects unaudiblew pinging which needs to be taken out with tuning, basically i think anywhere above 60 on the powerfc knock is very bad and needs to be tuned down, when mine was running awesome with the old cooler freshly tuned i was getting 30s MAXIMUM on high boost with full 4th gear load
  14. i think they can, they have machines that plug the ECUs into and gives them the maps etc, my mates piece of shit mobile was ****ing around, injectors flooding etc and hyundai put his ecu in their comp and fixed it up!
  15. nah coioler is definitely not shit coz i went out and drove around, then stopped, ran out and felt outake end tank and it had friggen condensation on it, ok it was a bit cool outside but it was ****ing freezing, the other cooler i had was *cold* but was never this cold, so i'd assume the better flow and cooling is causing it, oh well now i gotta get someone to retune it for me and jimx yes that can be done but i dont want to **** around with it, rather pay a pro and get it done on a dyno

  17. yer well a guess a retune is definitely on the cards, but i actually realised today that on a full tank of synergy 8000 i get approx 350kms with about 55Ltrs, so that is about normal form what i have seen with most skylines
  18. i have an apexi boost gauge, its doing about 0.55-0.6bar boost, i have my Electronic boost turned off because when i went back to stock cooler i didnt want to risk pinging etc, and havent turned it back on because its pinging now more than ever with only damned stock boost Danny: awesome, when did ya get that done ? chuck it on a dyno and see how much power she's got now oh and i heard those exhaust quietining thingos are bad for the cat converters, they can burn out, just in case u didnt already know dat (but you prolly did )
  19. i hope the fuel pump is on its last legs, but like we're talking yesterday with stock cooler it was fine, today with new cooler its not fine... so cant see how fuel upmp can die overnight without use ?

  21. haha yes, i slept too long in the tanning studio and became a movie star! yer it sounds about right, i was going to slap it on the dyno anyways just to make sure but yer looks like some tuning will be required, just annoying i can't go out and fang it because its going nice n hard also i was wondering, the trust kit came with some vaccum hose that it said to tpiece into the pressure regulator vaccum line over to the boost controller vaccum line, what would this be for ? i didnt do it because it seemed silly but i thought perhaps it creates a more even and accurate vaccum/boost reading across the baord in the engine perhaps ??

  24. ok i had a huge massive truck cooler on my car when i had my powerfc tuned and just recently i sold it and put the stock coioler back on with the truck cooler the knock readings on the PFC were normal, with the stock cooler they were a little higher (what i expected) but NOW with my new genuine trust front mount kit (600x276x76) its giving me really high knock readings, but the car is going a fair bit harder and WAY better response than ever, why would this be ? do i just need a retune ? anything i can do in the meantime? cheers
