  1. i need an exhaust will the following priorities: 1. not too loud or drony, preferably quiet (like stock) when idling or crusing, but can be loud when pushing the car 2. needs to perform well enough coz i wanna run max boost in my stock turbo (going to get a dual stage controller and already got a pod and will probably get a dr drift chip) where should i get it done how much expect to pay ? i also wanna have a massive stainless 5" tip, shoul;d i go a name brand for the tip ? advantages ? disadvantages ? thanks guys :burnout:
  2. noooooo, now i really wish i hadnt got my jetspeed one
  3. yeah my reverse seems to be quite noisy., but my car is stock, the reverse doesnt bother me sounds normal, as for the clutch always it is in the pedal i feel it
  4. got a 95 r33 gtst and everytime i bring the clutch up just before its fully up i feel a sort of clicking, there is a slight tiny sound but nothying major but it just feels funny every time i release the clutch, what could it be ? or am i just being a stres-head ?
  5. jay can i plz have the templates also ? djlethal@optushome.com.au
  6. sounds like it weas fun, whens the next one ? hopefully by then i should have my exhaust and boost conotrller, and then all i'll need is a chip, can dr drift do it the same day as the dyno tune ? and how much are they ?
  7. ??????????/ one of them can always be seen and is white (paint has come off) and the others cant be seen at some angles, is it true i need black polish to keep the original shine of the paint ? as i tried standard cut and polish on another scratch that came on the car last week and the paint has gone dull where i did it
  8. i wish i hadnt bought mine
  9. stupid ****s whoever it was, ill find out, it had to be someoen who was at the party i was at last night, but anyways the scratches are about 30cm long on the bonnet (3 of them) and they're like three small white lines make up the one scratch so it was a key or something similar on an angle, but the scratches can only be seen at certain angles, i trieds rubbing them but that did nothing, how caqn i fix them ? they are not verfy deep at all just annoying coz i just had my bonnet re-sprayed the car is black
  10. ok well i might as well take the black ones off and disconnectg all the stock lights except the odometer one and see how i go with that
  11. what would be more effectiove, a partition or a box ? or relatively the same ?
  12. make me one, pweeese ?
  13. so where can i buy a box ?
  14. so everyone should cold air box their pods ?
  15. yeah mine looks like a big ribbed condom, not much bigger than my size
  16. oh ok i didnt know u were playing with ypour boost sorry, well in fact ill need to do that too then coz after i get my exhaust im getting a dual-stage turbosmart controller so yeah ill have to get new pipes, is it just the air intake pipe ? and where can i get it done ?
  17. any modification to the engine from factory standards makes your car technically un-road worthy, put it that way, if it aint stock and they wanna get you, they'll get you
  18. **** jetspeed they told me $150 for fitting, but anyways i managed to install mine and everything is 100% now except the EL panel flexes on the teacho causing the needle to stop at about 4000RPM and get stuck until the RPM drops, so i gotta get back in there and stick it down better to stop the flexing, but anyways when i get me exhaust and boost controller im getting a dyno tune and they will check the calibration when i get that done
  19. i installed my pod yesterday (i bought it from jetspeed in melb) and the guy there told me in turbo cars u need a pipe that is flexible for the turbo, having a stiff pipe (chromed for looks etc) is something you do to like a VTEC prelude or the likes as they dont required the flexibility, anyways with mine i just mounted the pod with a single piece of metal that i bent the shit out of and screwed to one of the factory air box holes and the other side to where the adapter screws through the gasket into the AFM, and its been super stable, got the adapter and bracket for $37 from autobarn and gees does this pod sound mad (K&N) its like a mini intercooler it will do me for the time being until i got my exhaust, boost controller and FMIC but yeah i dont plan to box the pod i think its mad without it, and who cares about cops ay ?
  20. hmm, maybe i should get mine checkde too lol
  21. i have a stock r33 and when i leave my car overnight sometimes when i come back to it the cabin has a petrol smell
  22. well i like the way i did it
  23. nah its easier to double sided tape them, coz i left the regular light bulbs in the dahsh and with just the EL on it the light shines through and the blue doesnt look as good as u neeed the factory bulbs to light the odometer etc
  24. my r33 is stock atm except today im installing a K&N poddy, next will be the exhaust, what exhaust would you guys recommend and where should i get it installed ? as i wanna get the best performancew i can get out of a new exhaust except i dont want much noise, jetspeed had a 4" tip that seemed to have a valve u could open and close in it to make it louder and softer which is good for me except i want much bigger than 4" something like 5 or 6"s can any of you guys help me out plz ?
  25. dragon ill help you just did mine yesterday and it seems to be fine, what i did was pushed each needle clockwise to its 'maximum' and anti-clockwise to its other 'max' and then marked the two spots, then twisted it anti-clockwise past its maximum as i pulled up and the needle popped off, then i just stuck the EL face over the factory onewith double sided tape (not the thick stuff, regular sticky tape thin) and then put the needle back at the maximum it was at when i twisted it off, then i checked that the needle would move between these maximums and if it didnt i just adjusted it by turning it the amount required past the maxium until it was moving between the maximuums perfect, and with that theory everyrthing seems to be how it was, havent 100% checked the speedo yet but its definitely not way out as i went for a drive this morning and it felt like i nwas doing the speed on the speedo, are there any places who can cheaply just test to make sure calibration is ok ? coz if its a cheap cost to ensure it is i'd like to just get it checkd but im pretty sure its all sweet, looks ****ing awesome too
