  4. well i have more boost questions that the boost guage just reaffirmed car is a n/a converted r31 hi compression rb30 when the car comes on boost when flored it goes to 9psi from about 2.5grand stays at 9psi till 3.5grand after that it gets to 10psi at 4grand then 11psi at 5grand dyno data shows this and so does the guage i just got when the guy i bought it off had it all on his car (same turbo, manifold and accuator) it when to 9psi and stayed there the only difference is he had a fmic i think and 2.5" zorst i have no cooler, just the crossover and 3" zorst just want to know if this is normal?? ive checked the accuator hose and its fine the accuator does function, as peaking under the bonnet when it was on the dyno shows it goes off and opens the wastegate ive been told the accuator could be from 9psi to 11psi, but i know the history of its life and who owned it and told by them its 10psi photo is here if anyone needs to see it again http://home.alphalink.com.au/~rpagotto/accuator.JPG

  7. recently had my car dynoed and found its running 11-12 psi its an rb30e then added t on a hi comp rb30 with no intercooler this cant be healthy the accuator does close as far as i can see when it was on the dyno and moves fine when its cold and the hose to trigger it is fine it should be a 7psi accuator i think there might be cracks on the wastegate housing this is the accuator any insight also is there any way to lower the boost pressure?

  9. where do i get washers for the banjo bolts and injectors when doing my conversion its an rb30e converting to et are there rubber seal things for the injectors can i use the old ones for the injectiors, they have new top hoses to them but wondering about and washers/rubber bits that are needed to seal it in the head edit: mainly after info on the injector washers/rubbers i need as i can just find what washers i need for the banjo bolts when im holding them when i get them this arvo off enzed

  14. im back, and with my own ftp ftp://210.49.163.54:21 username: r31 password: skyline its read only and has full gregory's workshop manual, service manual and in car manual things for all aus r31s get them on all the servers

  21. my rb30e doesnt do it, eventually white smoke will come out of it but i havnt tested it to that extent
  22. the only reason people would do it is if they want noises if its done right either way should be fine
  23. start it oil pressure up 20-30 sec 40 when its cold for autochoke to come off and revs to drop a little, i have to stick on the flip face of my sterio anyway and pick a track - so that passes the time, mamybee even enter a new cd then i take it easy to operating temp i dont really consider it warming up
