Hello, i have an r32 gtr and it came with a profec A boost controler and an SM Intergrate electronic boost guage. and they read different :S The electronic boost guage reads higher than the digital boost readout on the profec. I had the boost set to 0.8bar on the controler for it to hit 1 bar on the guage. i wanted it on a bar but left it like that to be safe. After getting the car on the dyno it turns out that the digital readout on the Profec is correct and when 1 bar is selected, 1.2 1.3 bar shows on the electronic boost guage. I was happy because the car was faster. Today i checked where both units were getting the reading from, the profec was getting the reading from the top of the fuel reg and the the SM Intergrate was getting the reading from somewhere at the back of the engine bay. I changed the plumbing so they both read from the top of the fuel reg but they still dont match. Im convinced the electronic guage is wrong. Does anyone know how to adjust the SM Intergrate unit. Cant find any english manuals or instructions on the net. I have manuals here but theyre in japanese. Theres a unit under the bonnet that accepts the vacume line then runs to the powered unit in the cabin. Is is worth poping the top of it to see if i can adjust it. Help anyone?

  13. sometimes the fan button, mode button and some other buttons dont work. i press them nothing happens but sometimes they do work fine? this happens alot. is it as easy as getting one front the wreckers?

  15. my ac conderser is leaking fluid on my rb26, im after weather the one i ripped off my rb30 will fit on? it was working fine and not leaking. anyone know?

  17. r32 gtst gearboxes are roughly the same as the rb30 ones, a short shifter from that will fit strait on. goto the wreckers and get one, cheap as chips
  18. mine does the same i have an aftermarket steering wheel which causes the hicas light to come on during long strait journeys. my tyre pressures and alignment is fine (just got done) when its happening i just turn off the car for a second, allowing the turbo timer to keep the car on, this turns off the hicas light and the problem goes away

I'm looking for a mechanic that knows GTRs i have an oil leak at the front of my motor, looks like its coming from the crank seal behind the harmonic balancer and my steering rack needs a reco Needs to be fairly well priced and experience with imports / skylines Hopefully on the east side too Your suggestions will be most appreciated.   22. i don't think independent tests mean much, i mean no one could drive the gt-r like the people who built it and was with it through development. Nissan are claiming the tests were done on the dunlop tyres not the better brigstones and have stated the have the tyres that were used are sitting there at Sumitomo. Why not believe them??? its a big auto company they would have logs and data to match their claim. People and press saw the 7.29 run and there's a video, surely someone independent or outside can confirm what tyres were used. I solidly doubt that there's a conspiracy here, porsche can stfu
  23. just because its running rich doesnt mean its got enough fuel for the air you provide the engine at those boost levels at 18psi on a gtr with a stock fuel system, something clearly over its capasity where it be injectors or fuel pump put the boost to 15psi or somewhere it doesnt ping and take it to a dyno place to see whats going on
  24. i have an r32 gtr and sometimes when i start the car the 4wd light goes out then comes on in 10 sec and stays in rwd mode. i find that it will do it more when the car is warmed up and not from when i start it cold. ushally turning the car off and starting it again fixes the problem. i have checked the computer and it reads error code 18 which is ETS pressure switch or curcut. from reading the service manual, i have come to believe that before the car is started the attessa pump primes, then shortly after the car starts either the pressure drops or switch closes to soon and gives an error. i am in the process of checking all the lines to make sure the clamps are done up between the pump and the resivior. One thing i have noticed in the service manual is the resivior must have an air pocket of no greater than 5mm but mine does? mine is more like this picture below, about 10mm but the top fluid level is sitting right on the max line. How do i remove air from this resivior???? i am also going to perform a bleed and clean up the hydroluc unit terminal plugs on the pump under the rear diff to see if that helps. Any other sugestions?
