We have just received approval from the Red Cross and all proceeds of the BBQ will be donated to the Red Cross Japan and Pacific Disaster Appeal 2011. The Letter of Authority for Community Fundraising was received by me on Wednesday 27 April 2011. Mavis Number/ Supporter Number: 26549006

I know it does, it's been off the road for almost 5 months and it's been with ESP for alomst 4 of them...
-
That would be my engine that Grant is playing with, should be ready in 2 weeks to so I can run it in and then a full tune by Glen. Then it goes across the path to Naz to have some 'stuff' done. Almost 5 months since it's been off the road so I'm pretty keen to get the ol' girl back. Just to let you know that the ownership of ESP has changed hands and the owners are now Glen and Grant as of today and Daniel now has nothing to do with the business.

Cejay, Kat and myself will catch up sometime soon to have a chat about categories for the prizes and it will be something similar to last year. Obviously some of the prizes are already detailed, the prizes from ESP and KMF, but the other ones will be decided shortly. We just have to see what Trent at Federal can do for us as Mick came through with the goods last year with some great prizes for everyone. At this stage just make sure your car is ready for the day and hopefully it will be better that last year. So far we have $1300 in prizes and we're not finished yet !! Feel free to spread the word.

That's a top vid !! Yep, that's what I was thinking. Would you be willing to give that a try and the dyno day? If you are what don't you have that you need to make this happen?
-
The idea for the video is to have a split screen. Basically we need 2 stationary video camera's on tripods. Reason behind this is that the dyno screen for spectators is inside the shop and the dyno is outside and if we can get a split screen of the car on the roller plus the screen with the gragh, then it should give people a perspective as to what's going on. This will only work if we can get someone that's willing to put the time in to merge the footage together. I hope this makes sense.

Hi all Instead of starting another thread, can anyone suggest some charities that we can send out BBQ proceeds to? So far I've received the following suggestions: RSPCA Red Cross - Japan I would like to start a poll by the end of Monday and lock it in by the end of next week. The prizes are still a work in progress and there will be a kw per litre prize. Cheers RP

RP071 replied to RP071's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Hi all I have just been told by Wakefield that they need the day paid for by 20 October 2010 (this is totally out of my hands). As we currently have 21 people paid up for the day, if I do not receive a minimum of 9 people paid by the 20th, then I am going to have to cancel this day and refund your money. If we want this day to go ahead, we need 9 more people paid up. Cheers Ross -

Sorry forgot to mention that every driver will need either a CAMS licence or AASA (Australian Autosport Alliance licence) - the AASA is available on the day for $50 and lasts one year.
