nah the clutch is definetely not slipping it feels like the motor cant keep up with the revs or something and after 5 grand it sort of lags........if i put my foot to the floor you notice the "holding back" of the motor at 5 grand heaps more then if i ease it past 5 grand gradually.... is it worth getting it tuned (what could they tune if i dont have a standard computer??????)

Hi, I have just installed a Hybrid front mount kit on my r32 Rb20, the install was down excellently but when i took it for a test drive the car was really quick and zippy up until 5000rpm then it filt like it was restricting or sort of reving but not going anywhere, i cant work out the problem..the car is running standard boost (which is about 9-10psi because i have a 3 inch turbo back exhaust and filter..the boost looks like it is now around 11 psi because of the front mount). if anybody can shed some light on this problem or if they have had any problem which is similar could they please let me know what i can do about it thanks

Hi Guys, first off i would like to apologise for being one of these people who dont read previous posts and ask the same question 1 million times but im not really good with computers and im just learning how to browse and stuff. my question is....i have a standard r32 RB20T (only mod being 3 inch turbo back exhaust). i am wanting to change the standard turbo but dont know where to start to choose one. *i dont want something as big as a TO4 that will spool up at 6 grand but i basicly want something that is going to give me a fairly large performance increase without me having to buy an aftermarket computer (i just basicly wana change the turbo and a front mount and leave it like that). *i dont want another ceramic turbo.... P.s has anybody every thrown a s15 200sx turbo on a r32 and would it be benificial. many thanks

hi, I NEED to drop the oil on my R32 RB20DET and i dont know what oil to use. the car has about 70,000km and its all stock...i have know idea what rating i should be looking for (e.g 15W50, 20W50) and also what brands are good brands (and available in sydney) thanks

thanks mate, i will stick to what ever it is pumping out then revise how much boost i am running once the front mount comes along

Hi, i have a R32 rb20DET and it is all stock apart from a 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back and a filter...how much can i safely boost it to (considering that i want the car to be drivable on the streets). some people tell me dont go more then 10psi until you get a froun mount and others tell me 15psi is ok without a front mount. can i please have some clarification on this as i dont wana do any damage. many thanks

Hi All, i a have another quick question about BOV's. i have a r32 rb20det, does anybody have any idea how the turbo smart vee port BOV sounds. i have heard that i can swivel the top part of it to make a flutter sound like the 200sx (instead of the boring ssshhh, that evry man and his dog has). can anybody confirm this for me thanks

hi, i have a R32 and i am wanting to buy a blow off valve but i dont want the ordinary cchhheew sound. does anybody have any idea about a blow off valve that will get me sounding similar to the SR20DET fluttering sound . any tips will be helpful to me thanks heaps
