  1. thats pretty much it, they will just change the wheels to steel and chuck in some new bearings, hi-flowed doesnt really mean more power, it just means you can run more than 14psi boost before the wheel dies on you, i wouldnt bother with it, i mean the cheapest you could get it done is for $800, i would just buy a second hand t04 or look on yahooactions.jp for a turbo if you can read jap, cheers
  2. im so glad i didnt buy 1, i was looking at them for ages and then decided to go with a nismo one from japan, i thought at least nismo will do it right, and the nismo 1's even come with the proper boot to stop oil getting out, and at $200 delivered, and knowing it will be a good product i would happily buy another 1, JV
  3. Hey guys just a quick question. whats the difference between the rb20 and rb25 turbo? obviously the size but how do i determine what turbo it is? is there any markings or something like that that i can easily see which one? thanks
  4. yeah i just replaced mine today, what a bitch, stupid easy out broke so i had to drill 2 holes, its easiest to use a drill rpess so drain all the oil and remove the plate inside the gear box where the ball pivot thing goes, and no, not all skylines are the same, be very careful with this, i ordered 2, 1 from nengun and 1 from perfect run, my perfect run 1 came in like 1 week, nengun i should be getting either monday or tuesday (so it took a bit over 2 weeks), if it arrives in the next day or so i can let you know if your after a strong nismo fork pivot, thats if u want it, will do it for $40 delivered, i payed $47 from nengun,
  5. i get a bit of a lumpy idle with using coppers, but i didnt regap them as i was at the track when i put them in, so if i gapped them right it woulda been sweet, as for iridiums, i have them in my car and try and use them as often as i can, i find they are pretty good with spark and yes they dont last as long as they are ment to but they last a very very long time, mine lasted 1 and a half years, 65000kms and that was with drifting on them at least 1-2 times a week, they finally died at a full day drift out at qr, first lap, i was pissed lol,
  6. Item: R32 Toe Arms ISC Age: Brand new, never been fitted Condition: Perfect Price: $150 To Fit: R32 and maybe a few other cars Location: Brisbane Contact: 0408715983 or pm me Comments: These are brand new, bought them from ISC a couple of weeks ago as i bought traction rods and hicas lock etc... what i didnt realise is that toe arms are only good for non hicas sub frame, thats why i was so confuised to where they go, anyways i bought them for 179 or something as it is on the website, some1 come pick them up for $150, $30 saving for nothing o and no delivery, Cheers JV
  7. haha yeah after we bought it, i was like f*k, $300 for a fake, and really im not putting in my car, with something so important im not risking it, anyways thought i would let every1 know if they didnt already, save some1 like me buying another 1,
  8. hey guys, did a search and couldnt find a topic on this anywhere, i thought i would give u a heads up about fake takata racing harnesses on ebay, we have just bought a harness and it turned out to be fake so we are reporting it to ebay, ways you can tell if its fake, 7 cross stitches instead of 4, takata corporation on the belt, im pretty sure well at least with late model 1's that it will only have TAKATA no corporation after/under it, the release button, on the fake it will have 3 allen key bolts, real 1 is smooth with no bolts, most fakes will expire in 2010 aswell, Fake Harness pics = http://www.onthelimit.co.nz/images/TAKATA-1.jpg Real harness below, sorry if this has been posted but better safe then sorry, JV
  9. its a fake, not genuine, expiry on most fakes are 2010, ways to point out fakes, 7 crosses on stiching, real only have 4, the release is slightly different, and same with the clips if people want to see pics of fake and real takata, look at the link, no1 should buy fake seatbelts, JV http://s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=544520
  10. hey guys, just did a quick search and cant find anything, where can i buy braided lines for a rb20 with a 25 turbo? if any1 has any sites or knows places in brisbane? can you please post them up?, or if this has been asked before then the topic where its all located, thanks. JV
  11. any1 got diagrams where all these sensors are thanks? all i know is my air con needs a regas and 1 of the sensors replaced as its reading -30 so it will only heat in my car, so if some1 could put pics up or something of the sensor and where to find them that will be a good help, thanks
  12. i would say thats not good at all, get a catch can and if it keeps happening, i would be leaning towards getting a new turbo,
  13. clutch doesnt have a booster unless he is talking about the slave, the brake has a boost but not the clutch,
  14. o i c lol, never heard any1 call it a booster before, and yes if you slave cylinder is stuff then air can travel up through the system and stuff it up,
  15. get a 2door, but can i ask why did u post in this section? lol o well, gl with your buy
  16. clutch booster? im pretty sure there isnt a clutch booster, not from what i know, i think maybe the seals are just gone on your clutch master cylinder, anyways gl, let us know the result
  17. they arnt that much at all, could probably find 1 for $50 or something, me and my mates did a engine conversion on a laurel putting a rb20det into it, when we hooked it all up and started it it ran like crap, miss firing and everything, trying to pull all the plugs off and re do it, we found out it was the afm that was unplugged, so we started it again and it went straight to 1500rpm and still just wasnt running right which was pissing me off even more, found out my mate didnt plug the tps back in properly ands the idle dropped down to 1000rpm, so i think tps is the right track, at least its not hard to change, gl with it,
  18. over weeks the pressure gets less? is your fluid levels staying at the same hieght or what? if your fluid levels are going down i would check the inside of your clutch master cylinder, thats where my leak was, or obviously check your slave cylinder to see if thats leaking, the only way i think you clutch would get weaker over a few weeks would be a fluid leak, JV
  19. thanks for the few replys, i have ordered a short shifter from nismo, thanks
  20. hahaha same here mine was really starting to piss me off, and then on highway it would always screw up and the steering would feel like crap, who wants hicas anyways, im about to lock mine this weekend
  21. hey, im after a short shift kit or just a normal shifter for my rb25 gear box, i dont mind to much if its used or new just as long as it works (so any sponsors from the site are welcome to post up if they have some), i need it asap, and im not after a ebay 1 as some of the comments on ebay havnt been to good with fitment etc.... let me know, (pm would be good) JV
  22. hey, just after a low mount ss manifold for a rb20, has to be in good condition, in brisbane would be good so i can check it out before i buy it, dont want to spend to much money, so give me a offer, thanks JV
  23. notice on the packet it says 14100 yen so really they cost $135 aus, then delivery wouldnt b more than $5-$10, so if you sold them for $160 that would be a cheap price, gl with the sale
  24. hey, i searched and could find to much, i saw something about a gtr gear stick been able to go into any rb, but im wanting to know if my rb20 gear stick will go into my rb25 box and be sweet, if not, any1 got 1 i can buy? or links to short shifters? thanks JV
